Synopsis

When the Weavers move to a gated community in New Jersey, they discover that the entire neighborhood is comprised of aliens from the planet Zabvron. But as the Weavers and the aliens face the struggles of everyday life together, they discover that some things -- the ups and downs of marriage, the desire to be a good parent and raise a happy family -- are universal. Intergalactic, even.

VeteranLight I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Moustroll Good movie but grossly overrated
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Sam Kunz This show had everything going for it. Wit, Charisma, Charm. But was ruined by Clara Mamet's annoying character and insufferable acting. Or lack of it. If they had cut her character after the first episode, this show would still be on the air. One of my favorite shows, ruined by Clara Mamet.
Emily It was very cool show. I don't understand why they have canceled it! I loved the finale of the second season! It was really funny and unexpected. Maybe the storyline between Amber and Reggie was pretty boring, but it didn't spoil the show. I love all the characters, I love jokes. The sense of humor is excellent! Larry Bird and Jackie Joyner-Kersee are really sympathetic to me. You know, sometimes I also look at this world like an alien and the human's behavior, considered as "normal", doesn't seems normal to me at all. I'm talking about humanity and human qualities. By the way, Toks Olagundoye is so amazing in this show! So cute and funny! I'm upset with the show cancellation. I'm sure that season three could be very successful and interesting. Personally I would watch it with pleasure! There are so many shows about the friendship, relationships, family. But not so many witty and original as this one. I will miss it.
roxann99567 I absolutely love The Neighbors, so of course that means they're doomed for cancellation. Never fails. A show comes along that's funny and sharp and it doesn't last. I thought it REALLY interesting that the Challoweenukah episode was right up there with a story in the New York Times and published in my local paper, about the Manischewitz company combining Hanukkah and Thanksgiving; hmmmmm..... wonder how they got that idea..... so, I plan on ordering Season One of The Neighbors and will continue watching the fresh and funny episodes of the new season until the show gets the ax. I don't recall seeing the actors who portray Jackie and Larry in anything else, but the casting is perfect. I read in one of the other reviews that the girl portraying the human teenager was "annoying" - hey, guess what, that's what teenagers are!! Anyone who doesn't realize that apparently doesn't have one. So hang in there and keep the shows coming as long as possible - maybe even (what an idea!!!) put it back to its original day of the week airing!!
UnoFlickChick I agree with a previous review I read. This show probably isn't as popular as it should be, which is a shame. The show is quirky, funny and is just getting it's momentum, if given the chance. If I was to give a quick analogy of this show, it's kind of like, "My Family" meets "Third Rock from the Sun".Although not quite at the level of the afore mentioned shows, I think it has plenty of potential to become one of the more interesting little cult comedy shows out there. Unfortunately, we now exposed to such a mass of unoriginal rubbish, which sadly seems to thrive. So let's hope this potential little gem is given the chance it deserves to prove itself. The show is still getting it's legs, so I hope it continues to gain confidence and originality. If it does that, it may make it beyond a second season and start to gain more of an audience.Worth a watch if you're looking for something new and off the cuff.
