Viktor Navorski is a man without a country; his plane took off just as a coup d'etat exploded in his homeland, leaving it in shambles, and now he's stranded at Kennedy Airport, where he's holding a passport that nobody recognizes. While quarantined in the transit lounge until authorities can figure out what to do with him, Viktor simply goes on living – and courts romance with a beautiful flight attendant.

Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Leofwine_draca THE TERMINAL is an example of Steven Spielberg at his most average as a filmmaker. This is a massive-budgeted production that features Tom Hanks delivering a typically pitch perfect performance as a likeable immigrant stuck at an airport, of all places, and yet compared to Spielberg's best work this is insignificant and ultimately hollow. There are a lot of light laughs en route to the climax, and some well judged supporting roles, but THE TERMINAL also has some serious flaws. A wooden Catherine Zeta-Jones as the shoehorned-in love interest is one of them, and Stanley Tucci's antagonist couldn't get any more bland if he tried. My advice is to watch this if you're a Hanks fan, but otherwise skip it.
shuvo_rai-67806 This film is funny, genuine, honest and even inspirational at times. I even liked it better than Forest Gump! Tom Hanks even has the foreign accent perfected that I never felt he was just acting. It portrays a scene from many frequent fliers life where you are delayed for hours and you have nothing to do! In Victor's case, it is not hours but days and maybe even months. So, he figures out the "little things" in the airport! He was genuine and honest (except for the "goat" part) and funny all throughout. This is a well-scripted, well-played movie and a must watch even if you don't like Tom Hanks (although I can't believe why you wouldn't!)
hellxfun Simply one of the best motion pictures ever made, I was expecting the rating to be at least 9/10, I'm really surprised. Watched it twice and wouldn't mind watch it more times
yasiru1991 First of all i would say that is how you make a film without high tech gadgets , Special effects and stunts etc. It is just the beauty of acting and Story line.If you love acting and story line to make you entertain this is just one of the perfect movies to watch.I cannot forget the man who brings the extra ordinary masterpiece of acting to this film , MR.Tom Hanks. He is as always the best in the business. He shows to all the new actors who put more faith in stunts and Special Effects that it is not the real case of entertaining people. As an actor it is always ACTING which makes people felt the presence of an actor. Catherine Zeta Jones also did a wonderful support play to Tom Hanks and should be mentioned with a great respect for her justification to the character as well. Like every other movie Tom Hanks had touched this film is also not an outcast but again an inspiration to the movie loving fans.
