Price, a former hitman, is struggling to cope with retirement. He left the assassination business to live the "easy life." However, retirement arrived with its own agenda. It was not the instant peace and calm that Price expected. Rather, it was emptiness, boredom, and, worst of all, restlessness. The Last Lullaby plummets Price back into his old life and forces him into a corner from which he may never escape. Price's old ways no longer work for him when his heart opens, and he finds life beyond his profession. The tension finally boils, as Price must decide to close himself off again or open himself up to a world beyond his control.

Erica Derrick By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
Sarita Rafferty There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Logan By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
brandonbourgeois4111 My name is Brandon Bourgeois and I'm a sophomore at Ecole Classique High School. I'm writing a review of your movie The Last Lullaby for my film history class. It started slow but built intensity as the film progressed. I think this is what gave the movie a real and believable feel. I am no film critic but this is one of the best movies I have seen in awhile. It was the type of film that I enjoy, a thriller that keeps you entertained and guessing until the very end. One of my favorite parts was when price and van were shooting at each other and price killed van. The movie had some nice twists. The locations are beautiful, thanks for filming in Louisiana. It's a shame that this film has not gotten a wide release. It deserves more recognition and deserves to be seen.
pantherwoman WOW! WOW!! WOW!!!Incredibly crafted script. Beautiful fully developed characters, nice twists. And thank you for filming in Louisiana.Your vision and artistry allow the story and characters to shine and come alive. This entire cast was fantastic. And the score fits perfectly, adds a touch of menace, brooding but strangely an element of hope.I have to single out the two leads. Tom Sizemore is menacing when he needs to be, yet with Sarah, he finds a gentleness and a kindred soul and an unbreakable connection is forged. His face tells you he isn't going to kill her the second time he looks at the picture. And when he holds her....you know he's not only lost his heart but his soul to her. She gets him and he gets her. The understated way Tom Sizemore gives life to Jack makes him not only believable but uniquely likable. And the chemistry between Tom and Sasha is magic. So much is said in the silence between the words. These are two actors who know how to project!!! What can you say about Sasha Alexander that hasn't already been said? Those gorgeous hazel eyes draw you in and you fall so deeply into the character she becomes. In Sarah we see a complete, real person. She is smart, sexy, yet so full of dark secrets and private pain just eating her alive. When she asks Jack if he's going to kill her, and says that a part of her doesn't mind, you feel the pain from her tone, you see it in her eyes. And when she asks Jack to kill her father, you know the person she currently is dies, but a new stronger Sarah comes to life, one who isn't afraid and one who isn't shy with low self esteem. Thank you for giving this talented actress the canvas, brush and paints to create such a great character. It's such a cliché, but I laughed, and I cried, and I cheered through this entire movie. Thank you for putting all the pieces together and giving us a film to watch over and over and over......... I can't wait to see Peril! If I sound like a gushing fan, I am!With respect Norma Henson
randomthot Saw this at the AFI Film festival and it was my favorite of all the screenings I took in. Tom Sizemore takes a star turn - this time as a lead actor - as a hit-man in retirement, and he pulls it off brilliantly. The direction is steady in its daring approach - this is not a paint-by-numbers crime thriller but a character study in the motivations and emotions of life, death, love, and everything in between. You're never quite sure where the story is going to take you but you'll enjoy the ride.If you like One False Move, you will love this film as well. If you have an opportunity to see it, do yourself a favor and check it out.
douggood I just saw this last night at AFI Dallas (The 2nd showing) and I LOVED it! It looked beautiful, sounded kick a**, and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.Kudos to everyone involved and here's to more low budget thrillers shot in LA (Louisiana that is)!Jeffrey Goodman should be welcomed into the film community with open arms. He has a great eye for suspense and will make many more films. Tom Sizemore is back! He has a great feel for the pacing of his dialogue and never falls into a regular pattern.Perfect blood spatter! No one ever mentions that, but it's really important when people die, and people die in this movie!
