This is easily the best new comedy show on TV. I loved Two and a Half Men because of the innuendo and raunch but I really like this show because it's sweet, and gentle and too cute for words. Sheldon should get an Emmy for his role but for sure Annie Potts deserves one for her "Meemaw". The similarities between the mother and daughter acting team of Laurie Metcalf and Zoe Perry is amazing; I love them both in their distinctive roles. For you perpetual complainers about the lack of "quality" or "wholesomeness" or "family values" on TV should be happy but alas you continue to complain. Okay, complain already but do continue watching.

I use TBBT and now YS before bedtime. It's instant fun, very fast paced, I like the humor used in both TBBT and YS. There are close to no flaws in this TV show. I'm not entirely sure about bad reviews. According to what people wrote and expected, it seems to me like the lot most likely misguided themselves and expected another Dr. House, Breaking Bad, Prison Break, The Lost, Game of Thrones or something. No, You're wrong there. This is a TBBT prequel, none of the above ;)

Good show. Missy and Meemaw are great. Don't assume it's just going to be bad. Give it a go.

Many say: this kid deserves a swat, kick punch,,, he is annoying / well isnt the big Sheldon in TBBT annoying as well??? Thats who he is!!
Many say: accent should be on mother / truthfully , young Sheldons mom is rather present in the show
Many say: dissapointed, annoyed, boring,,,,, simply give it a try for a few episodes and if you dislike it go watch something else! Someone mentioned that many give reviews "just to do so" - and he/she is right!
This is really watchable and cute, and there will always be lovers and haters and people trying to compare with the real TBBT. Dont do that, watch it or dont, in the end it really isnt a rocket science! Just a small Shelly,,,,, relax!
