CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Movie-Inspector If you got the time watch The Thundermans with you kids - great cast, great chemistry between the actors and lots of easy fun and a good playtime of around 20 minutes. The story: the Thundermans are a family all with superpowers trying to live a normal life disguised as a normal family in Hiddenville. Of course, there are a lot of complications if one got superpowers and tries hard to look normal ;)Best thing is - this shows tries to entertain and not to educate. For this a big all thumbs up. A good show for the whole family (if you still got your inner child you will also enjoy).
treykrumel this is a good show i watched it i believe since about 2015. i especially like the main characters. this is a good nickelodeon show. the writing and the style is great i want nickelodeon to keep up the good work with these kind of shows. it is definitely better than some of the other nick shows like. banana, goat, cricket, sanjay and craig, and lots more. if you are interested into this show i totally recommend you checking it out you will like it.
CrackerJacker66 Nickelodeon keeps pumping out these god awful sitcoms. How many times on these kids shows have we seen family or main character has to keep a secret. We've seen it already on That's So Raven, Dog With a Blog, Hannah Montana, Henry Danger, KC Undercover. This concept is way overused. This is just a rip off of the The Incredibles. A family of superheros trying to live a normal life. Wow... how original. The Max character is an immature selfish jerk and Phoebe is super annoying. Unlikable bratty lead characters. She has token dumb blonde sidekick friend named Cherry.Nora is such a terrible character. Very obnoxious and not cute. And I want to rip that stupid giant bow out her hair. I hate her wardrobe. And Addison Riecke is a horrible actress. She can't act. Billy is the token and tiresome stupid character. He sucks too. We're going into season 4 and their characters are exactly the same as they were in the Pilot episode. No growth or character development at all. And why are they sharing a bedroom and hanging out together 24/7. Very creepy. Neither seem to have any friends of their own.The parents are also weak characters and uninteresting. And worse they pulled a cousin Oliver and unnecessarily added a baby/little sister Chloe who adds nothing to show. Shes just they're to telepathy in and out of scenes and say cute one liners and her lame catch phrase "Believe it baby". Her addition to show was jarring and poorly done. Was born, turned from an infant to toddler in the season 2 finale. Here comes the season 3 premiere and suddenly she's 4 years old. WHAT THE HECK??? Useless character.Don't get me started on the offensively awful Asian stereotype that is Ms. Wong. The ways she speaks and acts is just cringe worthy.Seriously, this show is beyond generic with the exception of the whole superpowers gimmick. The jokes are awful, it's not even embarrassingly funny, poor writing, the plots of all the episodes so far are generic sitcom plots that have been done to death, boring characters and the acting is bad. This show is going absolutely nowhere. They're poorly utilizing the superhero premise. All in all, this show is HORRIBLE GARBAGE! What happened to you Nickelodeon??? 90's Nickelodeon was better than this atrocious crap they spew out nowadays.
mischievouslyradiant It doesn't matter what others say about this show. I think it's great, and I love it. If you think it's great, fine. If others think it's bad and urge you not to watch it, that isn't fine. They're not the boss of anybody and they're not judges of what a great kids' show is. If "The Thundermans" existed when I was little, it would be my favorite show of that time. All the shows that I watched when I was little and liked a lot aren't even on my list of old favorite shows! The Thundermans has a consistent flow of conflict and problem-solving situations in my opinion. Maybe that's because it's about superheroes, so their lives are more complicated than, for example, Even Stevens (Disney show). Plus, I love the relationship everyone has with each other. As for humor, I don't usually laugh. I ignore humor unless it registers funny. But I both love this show AND have laughed at the jokes. As for acting, what's bad about it? I'll admit Billy overreacts at times and can be seen as dumb, but so does the animated character The Flash in the animated show "Justice League," who has the same super-speed ability. The Flash acts without thinking, a lot, like Billy. For everyone else, I see fine acting. Oh, and Principal Bradford? I've seen that kind of acting in a lot of sitcoms. Such as shows from the 1980s. So stop with the "old shows had better acting"!
