Synopsis

Los Angeles couple Bryan and David have successful careers and a loving relationship and are ready for a baby. Just as they start to worry that they will never be blessed with parenthood, they meet Goldie, a waitress who has just moved to California with her precocious eight-year-old daughter to escape from her closed-minded grandmother and a life without a future. The guys quickly work out a deal with Goldie to become their surrogate, and in the process, the little group forms a unique family unit of its own.

Redwarmin This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place
JinRoz For all the hype it got I was expecting a lot more!
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Dynamixor The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
Kirpianuscus the only problem is to define it. because it could be perceived as provocative, bizarre, pure gay story. in fact, it is a lovely comedy. maybe an old fashion one. because the use of irony, bitter humor, perfect actors for roles who are reflections of entire universe of relations, family problems, expectations and problems, all around a child, all around a new perspective about family. so, a cute series. and the opportunity to discover new performances from Ellen Barkin. or Justin Bartha.
Arturo Garcia Vargas I just start watching this show in this year (2017). I didn't finished the series (Im in the 19 chapter). This series show us how the life can change our goals and perspective in some things. Also you can feel the love of their treats and how the characters try to understand each other while they're experiencing some fears and doubts about life, their dreams, and parenthood. At the end of each cap. the characters tell us what they learn, and how to resolve the "problem" or situations. The comedy is good, sometimes it could be simple-minded but its really surprising how the writers can makes you laughs so hard or astonished you with drama, with history knowledge, tiny sad moments. The most of characters learn and grown at the pass of the time, so it turn more interesting this series. The style of the series its comfortable and LGBT friendly. It is far from being just another trivial comedy with strange jokes, instead is a funny and exciting series about parenthood, family and life.
Rain Sim I found one of the main character just so annoying. Interesting concept, some good characters. Like the partner, love the surrogate and her daughter. The mother is a bit over the top but she's meant to be. Just can't stand the main guy - so fake and rubs me the wrong way. It's like the annoying guy in the bar who talks really loudly about his so-not-interesting life that you just want to smack so he can stop. Everything is soooo... larger than life and dramatic! Karen and Jack from WIll and Grace rolled into one, but without any of the lovable character traits. Plots are also boring. For dysfunctional families and the new normals, go to the much more sensational Modern Family.
thrall7 I had high hopes for this show when I first read about it in the new television season previews. It had a timely plot line and seemed like a bold break in the traditional sitcom format. After watching the first few episodes I have to say it's been one of the biggest disappointments of the season.Put bluntly, the producers don't seem to be able to make up their minds about whether it's a comedy or a drama. As of now, it's not working as either one. It definitely isn't funny and the cast isn't good enough to pull off selling it as a drama. I find Ellen Barkin's character a ridiculous and offensive stereotype and the granddaughter's quirkiness to be unbelievable. On top of everything else, the show is very preachy. By contrast, "Modern Family" has hit a great balance with Cam and Mitchell's partnership of humor, angst, and tenderness.I read that NBC has given a go-ahead to produce more episodes. So be it. I won't be watching any.
