Synopsis

Life’s good for deliveryman Doug Heffernan, until his newly widowed father-in-law, Arthur, moves in with him and his wife Carrie. Doug is no longer the king of his domain, and instead of having a big screen television in his recently renovated basement, he now has a crazy old man.

Reviews

Acensbart Excellent but underrated film
Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
Invaderbank The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Andreas Malmgren This series, is without doubt the best sitcom ever produced. No other can come close to this, it's a perfect match in just every matter. The chemistry between Leah and Kevin are hard to find in any other sitcom made in the 90's and the 00's. The scripts are just perfect and they really make the viewers laugh in almost every scene. And that is rare nowadays.I can personally watch the same episodes over and over again, and still laugh at the same scenes. If i'm in a bad mood. Doug and Carrie makes that feeling disappear in 20min.The BEST! .And i don't think there will be any like this, ever again. Unfortunately not even if they should re-produce it. Since the cast got older and everything is so 2017.
dbrockskk1 Give me a break. I am so sure. I'm supposed to believe that someone as ambitious and talented as Carrie would settle for an overweight guy who's just a high school graduate? And all he does is deliver packages? And it never occurs to him that he too could take college courses? Carrie seems much too smart for that.
studioAT The 90's/early 00's were a good time for American comedy, full of classics. Because of that this show doesn't really get the plaudits it deserves.I'm not saying it's perfect, I think many an episode is saved by Kevin James' personality, rather than good writing, but there are many things to like about this traditional, warm, sitcom. It's easy to see why Kevin James became a star based on this, because it is his character at the centre, and the source of much of the comedy. I can't say that the supporting characters are half as strong, though Jerry Stiller (father of Ben, of course) always has his moments. It's a decent sitcom, that always seems to be on. Have a watch of it sometime, you may find it to be a hidden gem.
Michele7169 This is one of those shows you can watch every episode over and over again and laugh every time. The chemistry between Kevin James and Leah Remini is the kind that's once in a lifetime. That was a comedy match in heaven. The characters on this show are easy to identify with and very likable. The writers did an excellent job sticking to everyday story lines but injecting such humor you forget how bad your day may have been while dealing with the same issue! If you haven't given this show a chance you should..it's worth the time and the watch. My hubby got me every episode on DVD and I take them on long trips and it makes the travel time go so fast. Love it!!
