Cubussoli Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Steineded How sad is this?
ThedevilChoose When a movie has you begging for it to end not even half way through it's pure crap. We've all seen this movie and this characters millions of times, nothing new in it. Don't waste your time.
Kaelan Mccaffrey Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
charlie-butters The first Season was really lots of fun, It was like a cross between Chuck and The Office.Basically the story was like this.. Our main character is a talented hacker genius gets recruited by a security company led by OZ (Christian Slater - Too Hot To Handle/Broken Arrow)The team consisted of a sexy lock picker, her boyfriend who would remind me of Charlie Day when he was dressed up as "The Greenman". (always Sunny In Philadelphia) crossed between Bill And Ted. "Excellent!!" Then we had a master of disguises and finally a mega geeky gadget man. (The token black actor)The 1st season was quite enjoyable. I grew up and love all the 80's movie references and understood them and enjoyed them. The characters were a good spread and the stories about a company that had to find security holes in banks etc was very cool. Even the stories were quite enjoyable. Sadly only 7 episodes in, the plug was pulled and the show was over. But hey it came back for a second season. I was excited to get my hands on it but I warn you now, if you have watched the 1st season and enjoyed it like I did, STAY AWAY FROM THE SECOND SEASON. It's a totally different show. God knows why but the creators of the show felt the need to bring in that annoying woman (Megan Mullally) who is Ron Swanson's wife Tammy 2. (Parks and Rec = A show you should be watching instead) Now, this woman was great in Will and Grace, (Stole the show in fact) and now days she is funny in small doses, like in Parks and Rec, but her in the second season of Breaking In is just like having your ears cleaned with a blow torch. It felt like Niki Lauda having his lungs scraped. Shes the worst possible version of her stereo type character she can be.So annoying..OK seriously. This show had really great potential and could of become a cult classic, but it obviously was taken over by studio executives, or perhaps someone just dead set against this show and wanted it to be remembered as another show that lost its way.Sorry, 4 out of 10. And only that high because the first season was so good.
helperzine I could ramble on about the corny comedy and predictable characters and lame actors and cheesy romance, but what made me dislike this series is that it felt like a personal attack on my mind! It's like the creators think I'm really very stupid and designed something to suit my low IQ... It's of course up to you if you want to watch this, but I really think that with the number of series and movies out there, you can do better.Extra details: It's about a team who have to be 'good-guy' thieves, if there exists such a thing. The don't want to, but they're forced to. It clearly shows on screen: they don't enjoy what they do, and I didn't enjoy watching them! The music is boring and the visual effects are pathetic.
ItBitKitty I LOVE this show! I was thrilled to hear that Fox is bringing it back for a second season in March of 2012! It has a wonderful cast and is very well written. I have not laughed this much in 30 min since My Name Is Earl and what else would you expect from writers like Seth Gordon (who wrote for Parks and Recreation, the Office, and Community), produced by Adam Sandler backed Happy Madison Productions, and starring Christian Slater. The plot is fast paced with lots of action and plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing and the main characters are fleshed out pretty well by the end of season one to keep you interested and invested in them. I also have enjoyed the great guest stars especially "Dutch" played by Michael Rosenbaum who has evolved into a main character and will be back for season 2. I would love to see this show evolve into a full hour but it's a great 1/2 hour show anyway. I don't think it is anything like Leverage (another good show) nor does it have the time to get into a complicated plot (like Justified) or a lot of technical explanations (Big Bang Theory)as some other rates seem to think it should, it's like comparing apples to oranges, these shows are all good at what they do and Breaking In does a great job entertaining you with smart writing and solid humor without dumbing it down like some sitcom's do. I don't usually watch sitcoms for that reason but Breaking In IS the exception for me! Love it and can't wait for season 2!
Talis Briedis So glad it is coming back. Though I do not like most of the actors, they do fit their roles well. Great guests, but just like the regulars could be better. I am a NASCAR fan also, but detest Jimmie Johnson. But OK, it was still a good episode. Did anyone notice at the end when Slater got to do his lap, ALL the ads around the track were blurred out. No big deal, just kinda interesting... I do hope they keep up the same quality, quick wit, fast pace in the following episodes. This show really does work. Great twists, lots of slapstick. Not trying too hard to too serious. So many shows try to be intelligent and back it up. In the end failing miserably. Here they just state it as fact and that is it. Why waste time on things that are not really needed. And when they do explain something, it is so outrageous and hilarious! Slater is excellent and McAuley is Fantastic himself. Reminds me a bit of whats-his-name from Police Academy, but does it well enough to be his own character. Hope FOX sees the light and finds the right time slot for this show. It has LOTS of potential!!!
