ChanBot i must have seen a different film!!
Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Geraldine The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
SnoopyStyle Lori Anderson (Sarah Jessica Parker) fell off her horse and is in a coma. The movie is told in a flashback. She is still struggling to come to terms with her father's death. The family horse ranch is struggling. She's not happy that her mother Betty wants to remarry to Sheriff Alec Peiski. Terry Stockton is flying a single engine plane with his friend Paul Bart when they crash in the woods. Lori finds a terribly injured Terry. She falls off her horse and hits her head. When she comes to, she goes to look for her horse and finds Terry riding her. Later, she discovers that Terry is actually dead. They reveal his condition to Paul. While Terry can move stuff, she's the only one who can see him.The production is bad. It looks like a weaker TV movie. SJP is cute. Her naivety is adorable although a bit silly. For her fans, this is definitely worth a watch. There is a pretty good twist in the end. For everybody else, the story concept is better than the overall execution.
slayer-638-18938 I have to say my daughter and I picked this movie up at you guessed it the Dollar store it is on DVD that holds 2 films. So it was actually 50 cents per movie. Both my daughter and I loved it, my daughter is 17 and she was all misty eyed and giggles by the end of the movie. It was beautiful my only complaint was the cover of the DVD package contained witchcraft symbols which had nothing to do with the movie. So I suppose many people hoping for a scary movie will be disappointed and those who don't buy it because of the images on the cover are missing out on a great family movie most Christian families would love. All in all it was a great movie. And I loved it.
Woodyanders Troubled Lori Anderson (superbly played by Sarah Jessica Parker) is trying to recover from the untimely death of her father in a plane crash. Nice young Terry Stockton (a solid and likable performance by Tom Shea) also dies in a plane crash, but his spirit lives on and forms a special bond with Lori. Lori and Terry have to figure out together why he's still here. Writer/director Robert Wiemer delivers a thoughtful, moving and funny meditation on appreciating being alive, learning to cope with tragedy, and getting on with your life. The fine acting from a tip-top cast qualifies as a real significant plus. Shea and Parker make for a very engaging, if decidedly offbeat on-screen couple; the chemistry between them is really sweet and palpable. They receive excellent support from Nancy Addison as Lori's concerned mom Betty, Rick Weber as Betty's decent, amiable cop boyfriend Alec Peiski, and Paul Bates as Terry's jolly best pal Paul Bart. Glenn Kershaw's polished cinematography and Paul Baillargeon's lovely, low-key score are both up to speed. Parker even sings a couple of wonderfully uplifting songs. A warm, gentle and affecting little gem.
BROOKE I really hope they bring this back out someday its a very worth while movie. It has a wonderful yet odd twist of romance. This is a good family picture as well. I highly recommend it!
