Wordiezett So much average
Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
nascarfan315 The best thing about this movie is Christian Kane. I have seen several of his movies and I continue to be amazed by the depth and breadth of his acting. The fact Christian sings in this movie is an added bonus! If you're a fan of Christian Kane, this movie is worth your time.If you're not a Christian Kane fan, don't waste your time. Watching Gil Bellows act is like watching paint dry. The other actors aren't much better. The movie had potential but it fell short. If it wasn't for Christian, I would have given this movie a 1. In my opinion, he was the saving grace of this movie.
Derrick Grant I don't know what the hell people are bitching about on this page. This was a great movie - it really does keep you on the edge of your seat - and has a great cast. It has a great twist at the end - and you really don't know "who-dun-it" till the very end - it was really enjoyable... and yes - i worked on this film - but i took 5 friends to see it who all agree with me. in summary...this film makes you question your relationships with others - you can't always trust everyone - and you certainly don't know everything about your friends. (in short - you'll leave questioning all relationships in your life) i think it was a great film - but you should see it for yourself.
mej7 I really enjoyed this movie. The cast was superb, especially Gil Bellows. I didn't know most of these actors going in to the screening but they all delivered solid performances. The plot really keeps you guessing up until the last second - makes for a very dramatic final scene! Also, the setting of Louisville really accentuated the main character's "big fish in a small pond" life and provided for some beautiful locations to shoot. I've never been there before but now I definitely want to visit.Altogether a great film - congrats to Stu Pollard on a very creative endeavor.
steven-hakeman You'll be pleasantly surprised by this recently released independent from Stu Pollard. Strong acting across the board, featuring charismatic performances from Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein) and Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal). Not quite a thriller, not quite a romance, but close enough to both you won't be going to the fridge until it's over. Beautiful cinematography gives genuine personality to Louisville and its environs. Every aspect of this film shows Pollard knows what he's up to, in spades. A plot hole or two may leave you with a couple of questions at the end. So watch it again. When all is said and done, the story rolls along briskly and you'll be glad you went for the ride. Deserves to be seen. A sterling sophomore effort.
