Thanks for the memories!

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Suicide is a complex topic and every case is different. This movie was funny in places and sensitive where it needed to be. Well worth the experience.

Well if your expecting the Sean William Scott character of American pie and Dude Where's My Car, then you will be disappointed, which is the only reason I can see people giving bad reviews. Which is still no excuse. This is why I think movie critics are saying he's no longer a good actor and done. But they know not what they are talking about, and as usual with their critique they are dead wrong. He does a very good acting job in a serious/dark comedy/Drama. It is very good all around about life in general to a point, with some very good points, and just insight. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good night of sitting and watching a very entertaining movie.Take a chance you will not be disappointed.

Very funny, feel-good movie. It will make you laugh it will make you cry and most importantly it will make you think about life :) I connected to almost every character they have there especially the lead role. The actors are convincing and great which helps the movie to deliver it's humor. Some people say some jokes are really offensive like "retard" etc. but I think It's just okay because it helps the character(the lead man's bully brother) to be himself and makes him more believable. It also made me cry which I didn't expect honestly especially the ending part where he meets his dad :( Lastly, I want to applaud the writer, and maybe the director to, for creating a story that can connect to almost every other person in the world.

Just Before I Go is one of the silliest, pointless films I have ever watched. There was one particular scene, where the character Greta is talking to the character Ted during what was supposed to be an intense, high-drama scene. The syrupy, ridiculous and silly words that come out of Greta's mouth were so inappropriate for the scene that I was instantly embarrassed for her that she had to say them, and I alternated between being embarrassed for Courtney Cox to being angered at Cox that after seeing that scene so many times during the performance, dailies and screenings she said to herself, "Yeah, that's good" and included it in the film. The lines that were meant to be jokes missed their marks by a long shot, with some even being insulting, like a running gag about someone becoming a "retard." Sure, a minor character does pop his head up and says he finds that word offensive – ya think? – but that hardly makes it OK for the use of the word and the way it is used. And to be sure, I am not someone who is caught up in political correctness; quite the opposite.I feel the worst for Olivia Thirlby, who is a classically trained actor, having trained extensively in classical Shakespearian acting in New York at the American Globe Theatre, and in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Why on earth would she accept a role like this?If this is the best work Courtney Cox can do as a director, she needs to go back to acting and leave directing to professionals who know what they are doing. There is a reason this film grossed only $8,129 for its US opening weekend. Heck, you could put your home movies on a few screens around the country and gross more than $8,129.This movie is terrible.
