Wordiezett So much average
Stellead Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful
Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
jostannie A film portraying another welcome nail in the Kennedy dynasty coffin. That evil family deserved all it got. You reap what you sow and they sowed plenty.
joaosamarques I don´t believe they made a movie with this story. how did Kennedy got out of the car? with all the Windows and doors were closed? i say this because mary jo had no Windows or doors open......... the car aparently had no major hurts, but if iu wnat to tell the truth, and have budget for it, stick to the reality. about the argment, was it like that in the 60´s?why kennedy´s didn´t answer the law like others? how did a journalist saw Kennedy walking normal after accident, and didn´t report him? was usa so corrupt at the time? by the way, jason made a good performance but that´s not enough.
capone666 ChappaquiddickFinally, they have made a feature-length film about Harry Potter's favourite sport.Oops, my mistake. This drama is actually about Ted Kennedy, not the golden snitch. In July 1969 the then Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy (Jason Clarke) - brother to John and Robert Kennedy - drove his vehicle off of a Chappaquiddick Island bridge. While Ted survived the incident unscathed, his passenger, 28-year-old campaign aide Mary Jo Kopechne (Kate Mara), did not.Fearing for his family's reputation, Ted fled the crime scene, only to be cajoled in to confessing later by his cousin (Ed Helms) and his State's Attorney (Jim Gaffigan). An overlooked aspect of the late Ted Kennedy's life, this random rendition of the decades old events may or may not be entirely factual. However, the actual facts still make Teddy seem like a complete creep.Incidentally, Teddy's brothers could've helped him make it look like Mary Jo had OD'd instead. adonis98-743-186503 Depicting Ted Kennedy's involvement in the fatal 1969 car accident that claims the life of a young campaign strategist, Mary Jo Kopechne. As much as i might love Jason Clarke as an actor this film really did not do it for me. First of all the man is wearing fake teeth for the entire movie and it's so obvious to the point where he looks more like Bugs Bunny rather than Ted Kennedy. Ed Helms was suprisingly serious good for him i guess and Bruce Dern's role was very disappointing. Kate Mara is also in the film but her role was pretty forgettable and the pacing of the film is very slow and moody definitely not a film that i would recommend for a large portion of viewers except those who might find slow dramas like this compelling and interesting as a whole. (4/10)
