Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Frances Chung Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
Psy-Ko I'm 52 years old, I remember movies like Animal House, Porkeys, Caddyshack, Police Academy ect, movies that weren't meant to make you think, not meant to win awards, just meant to make you laugh. I've missed those kind of movies! Everything is so damn PC these days people are afraid to joke about things, jokes are funny, enjoy them, laugh and forget your troubles for an hour or so. This movie accomplishes that. I can honestly say I enjoyed it from start to finish!I thought all the acting was good, sure the story has been done before but thats why it works. And Farley..... I didn't even know Chris had a brother. He is eerily like him! The tip of the hat with his karate was great! All I could think of was "in a van..... down by the river!" Made me smile.Heck I'd watch it again, not a lot of movies I say that about.
natcalgary Good acting and a few hillarous parts made up for some of the dumber jokes. A solid 6.1.Is it just me or does Chris Farley's brother try to hard to be like him????
movierevman Okay maybe I have a silly sense of humor but this is a really funny film. Like really funny. I havent laughed a movie as much as this in a long time. the characters are amazing and acting is good. There's all kinds of comedy... awkward... stupid.... rude... clever. Movies like this are not made enough. Oh and TBag is in it as a drug dealer! And Danny Terejo!
nowego This type of movie has been done over and over since about the 70's. Animal House (1978) comes to mind. I tried very hard to like this and watched it to the bitter end, but failed. Watch for the bloopers during the credits, they were the funniest part of the movie. Two stars for the acting, while the antics at times were infantile, the acting really was pretty good. There was nothing wrong with how the actors acted, the problem was what they did and said while doing it.The third star is for the sporadic moments that I actually laughed, unfortunately they were not often enough for what could have been a pretty good movie.Brendan Michael Coughlin's character really sucked the most and he probably should stick to Days of Our Lives.Avoid this if you don't like infantile and toilet humour.
