Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

I went and saw this movie with 78 children ranging between 5 and 12 years of age. And the cinema was dead silent. They maybe laughed once. This movie was boring and not worth the time it took to watch it

It's prehistoric Manchester. A meteor crashes into the ground. Early man finds the meteorite and invents the game of football. Some age later, a rabbit-hunting primitive tribe lives in the crater turned lush valley. They have forgotten the game. When they are driven out by a bronze age group, they have to rediscover their heritage to beat their invaders at their own game.I usually like Aardman a lot more but this one lacks anything special. The characters are fine but I like the Aardman animals more. It's a sports movie but it's soccer which is not the most appealing to me. It's all fine but not one of my favorite Aardman.

Very similar to the Indian movie Lagaan just football instead of cricket. Quite fun

The film combines a ton of historical misinformation to create a soccer match of Stone Age men vs Bronze Age men with both French and English accents. The stop motion left a lot to be desired in an era of 3D graphics. Most of the jokes fell flat. Not a totally bad film, but not one I would spend my money on.
