Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
waipahu81 I like the show but I don't like that the unit or the female police officer seems to get all the credit for his help. When they start the new unit Toby ask if he can have a gun they waste no time in saying no. And they give him a desk like you would give a child, no respect is given to him and to be quite honest without him they would not be the best unit and have the money they are getting. In the episode the reckoning she get a award but when ask if Toby got one she gets offended and upset. Question for the writer or creator of this show, why make the characters of the unit he works with feel like they are the ones solving the crimes and he is just a helper. He should be recognized just like in the American TV Show the mentalist, the people he works with knows he is a big asset and lets everyone know he helps out.
ac_duquaine When the series first came out I was actually looking forward to it. While I don't believe it's possible for someone to read other people's minds, in and of itself I deemed it irrelevant and watched for the sheer entertainment value of it. Before the end of the season I was completely hooked, and was excited at the prospect of it being picked up for more seasons. But I waited a very long time because it was canceled from the one network - but finally got picked up by another - yay! I however, didn't find out about this until it had been back for a couple seasons so I had some ground to make up. Didn't bother me - I enjoyed the pursuit of catching up. I have missed some episodes tho - dunno when the one guy was replaced by Peter Stebbings, but I enjoyed the program even more. To say I was disappointed when he was taken off and the other guy put back in - that's putting it mildly. I haven't seen it since. I have recorded a couple since in hopes they brought him back, but deleted when I saw that other guy still there.
DavidWDNO The actor Craig Olejnik is great eye candy, but his acting is not good. The episode I saw was very flat and dull. It seems like the premise of this series has already been done. Reading other people's minds is not a new novelty. I'm not sure what would help this series out. Perhaps better acting by the lead actor or maybe a more interesting storyline would help. I understand this series was filmed in Toronto. It may have worked out better for this series to have been filmed in a recognizable American city. I also think the lighting in this series is not quite right. I'm disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing this series. The only reason I'd watch this show again is to see Craig.
josie_bassett I remembered watching this show when it was on here in the USA. I was disappointed that it was taken off prime time. The story line behind Toby and his abilities is fun and just a little off the norm that it could happen, it could be believable. Thats what gives this show it's edge. Plus the fine line he has to balance on as to whether he's protecting someone or prying/invading into their personal lives is a tricky area. This past year I have found I could watch the remaining seasons that were produced in Canada here online. I was using your TV series to access them but it seems that site has changed a bit this month and now I cant really find any links to the episode downloads. Very upsetting especially since I have 1/2 way through season 3.
