Reviews

AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Siflutter It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.
Abbigail Bush what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
kitellis-98121 Unexpectedly, this turned out to be a marvellous show in every respect. It was exquisitely well-written, with snappy, genuinely funny and intelligent dialogue that flowed effortlessly, and pitch-perfect performances from the three central characters. The main premise could have, in less capable hands, turned this piece into a crass, mindless sitcom. But instead we are treated to a beautifully balanced and utterly compelling mix of humour and tenderness.Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of this show was the fact that the characters really communicated with each other. This is such a rare thing to see in drama, and the real world. In most other "rom-coms" the comedy and drama are squeezed, often clumsily and frequently without success, from a lack of communication between the characters, and that becomes not only tired but also frustrating. Here, everybody uses their words, and that brings a delightful freshness and honesty to the show, as well as affording more original and unexpected ways for the characters and events to surprise and entertain us.I put on the first episode as something to watch while eating my dinner. But I ended up binge-watching the entire first season in one sitting. It was utterly addictive.Season two, when it arrived, seemed to fall apart somewhat, and most of the great communication that had made the first season so special seemed to be lost, along with the majority of the exquisite 3-way romance that had so beguiled me, but it pulled itself back into shape and season three was not a disappointment. It's not quite as perfect as it could have been, but I realise that most of the things that I haven't liked about it as it has progressed have been purely that everything doesn't go perfectly for the three main characters - and I so want them to be happy and successful as a throuple. But I must grudgingly accept that there would be little drama and entertainment if things didn't go wrong for them occasionally. Overall, I find the show as close to perfect as can reasonably be expected, despite my own unrealistically high standards.
anagent I love this show. its funny in places sad in others and explores the hang ups and red tape that binds society. If three adults decide to live as a THRUPLE then so be it. Why should their lifestyle affect jobs and social status? But it isn't all about what other people think its about all the jealousy and mistrust that can easily seep into relationships and either cement it or destroy them. TV is usually very good at removing jealousy and frustration from characters following the news that someone they love is cheating. Often when we see this on TV when the couple remain best mates and are totally adult about the whole thing when in reality that's usually not the case. You Me Her explores all these feelings and gets them out on the table for everyone to see.I gave this top marks because the directing the acting and the mood of the show is worth the recognition. If you are looking for some light hearted reality you will find it here.
larrryy_c you me her is a well done TV show the plot a married couple that loved each other for over 10 years add spice to the suburban lives by adding a third party to their romantic life another woman sound exciting and works great at first for all parties but it seems that in season 2 jacks wife Emma has fallen more romantically involved with Izzy who she known for only a month than her husband jack she has said she loved dearly for over 10 years Emma before marrying jack had lesbian relationship but never told her husband her lesbian sex needs now supersede and surpass her desire for a mans touch she prefers girl girl romance over her 10 year love of jack jack is a 3rd wheel this becomes evident on their double date with their neighbors when Izzy and Emma dance the night away making out publicly and in front of jack constantly on the dance floor (was more than just dancing) and leaving jack out of the date they went to together not even noticing or more importantly caring to involve him in their date and lustful dancing they asked him to dance at first but sure didn't care were he was during their long period on continued dances and making out in public they didn't care if he was there or make another effort to try to include him (so much for 10 years of love and marriage)on chick and men night out again when chick night end and mens night end Lizzy and Emma take advantage of this to again use as a way to have one on one romantic encounter in their bathtub without jack jack comes home when men night out ends and finds them naked and kissing in the tub the kissing and hugs between the two girls are more passionate and caring than what the girls do with jack even when the 3 of them or in bed together the girls cuddle each other but not jack i don't blame jack for leaving the girls don't include him and are insensitive in front of him when he is around again lack of caring Emma refuses to see jacks hurt because of him being left out of the romance because he get token sex from the girls but not the love they had before (which is more important than sex) the 10 years of devoted love to jack is gone or diminished .... jack could probably live with equal love but that is not the case he is now the 3rd wheel an inconvenience someone to get out of their way so the girls can have their intimacy with each other (talk about being blown off a person so to speak) to get on with their girl wants as far as Izzy is concerned she love the attention Emma shows over jack and sure she is willing to have sex also with jack to keep the relationship together after all she was a escort and is use to having sex with men without true love and devoted love or caring so far she is the big winner even with all her whining when she doesn't get her way their love for each other is disappearing and jack can see it and cares Emma cant and doesn't care because she if so happy to be with Izzy so as i see it Emma is cheating with Izzy on jack and jack is still deeply in love and cares for Emma and loves Izzy and not cheating on anyone he being strung along as far as who should apologize its certainly not jack jack even though he not the one that should apologize and try to save their marriage (Emma should of went to see him and ask him to come back to their love and marriage) jack shows his continued love for Emma by coming home to help her out with her parents visit but more importantly to show Emma he still loves her dearly as far as seeing another person and trying to find companionship during Emma and jacks brief separation .... there was no romantic intimacy kissing sex or even touching between ruby and jack his non date but meanwhile back at the ranch continue their intimacy towards each otherseason 3 possibilities ?????Emma trip to Seattle she has a lesbian affair and finds out she not 100% lesbian because she only felt the sex part not the love part during her encounter and returns to Portland or Lizzy moves to Seattle to be with Emma leaving jack behind (which would end jack and Emma 10 year marriage) or Emma could turn down the offer and stay with jack and Izzy but this would only work if while trying to have a baby with Izzy that jack gets Emma finally pregnant and has the baby instead of Izzy or both get pregnant and they all share the wonderful family together and no one gets 3rd wheeled or Emma treats Lizzy and jack equal with the slight edge of love going jacks way her companion and as she had said her true love of 10 years
zk2002 I've never actually written a review before, but this show was so irritating that I just had to warn people... I've watched the first season completely, but more due to the OCD of needing some closure and the slight hope of it maybe getting better. Spoiler, it didn't. The characters are pathetic, the dialogue is stupid, the storyline is basic. The whole thing is so unrealistic it makes your whole body cringe. I haven't been this frustrated with a show since 'The client list' or 'Mistresses'. I wonder how a show like this gets a second season while so many other terrific shows full of potential get cancelled. The hell Netflix?
