Numerootno A story that's too fascinating to pass by...
Ella-May O'Brien Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
xotinaxo52 I love seeing Rachel Bilson again she is an awesome actress. The show is like way goodLove it :)
lynnbar0320 I know this is supposed to be a 'fluff' piece of TV police procedural action program but, this is the worse show of any shows that I've ever seen in the past that were in the same category. I cannot stand the female actor-turned-PI. Terrible actress. Although she's actually 37 years old in real life, on this show, she's like an 'any age'- year old, obnoxious, annoying, self-centered, over-bearing child. Like a fly that you have to keep swatting away. Every time she opens her mouth (spewing out the usual cliches), I cringe. NOTHING like Castle or Bones. At least their 'side kicks' were intelligent/smart and had a maturity about themselves that made the chemistry between the 2 leads palatable (Bones & Booth, Beckett & Castle, etc.). I'd rather see a show with the same PI (Ciprian/Valetik) with the lady Detective Christine as the leads and that flighty , air-head (Bilson/Swift) as his receptionist or the medical examiner's assistant, or anything else - not the lead. Bilson's acting is forced and over the top. Not funny. Her 'comic timing' is off. His is OK. To me, it would be nice if there were spin-off(s) from Castle and/or Bones that will draw attention from this show so that it will fade into the sunset. American TV executives need to take lessons from Canadian and British shows like this one so that they can gain the necessary knowledge regarding how such shows SHOULD be created and shown. This show is pitiful. Or just show programs from past years (1980's, 1990's early 2000's) in this time slot, if you can't do better than this. I know it's not suppose to be a serious show, but it's not supposed to be a STUPID one either.
parthenonpups I was a huge Castle fan and usually like anything with Rachel Bilson, so thought I'd give it a watch. Being that it's created by the same husband and wife team who created Castle, it's not surprising that it has a lot of Castle-esque features. And, yes, I, too, thought it was cheesy and poorly acted/directed the first few episodes, but it does get better as the series goes. It's no Castle, but enjoyable enough as long as you keep an open mind and don't expect sparks to fly off the screen between Bilson and Cibrian.
thejenkins-17347 At first, I was skeptical about this show because it seems unrealistic, especially since Rachel's character, who is an actress, appears to have more PI savvy than Eddie's character, who is an actual PI. As the show progresses, the chemistry between them is improving and the addition of the 2 assistants is a plus. It does have its comedic moments, which are entertaining. I hope this show does well, but please do not let Rachel's character take over as the smart one, and please, PLEASE do not let the two lead characters become romantically involved.
