GazerRise Fantastic!
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Billy Ollie Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
aadityachaturvedi-96587 Commendable job did by director Rishabh seth and actors kavi shashtri and shruti seth.infact at Netflix I had watch it in a single sitting . Can you believe continuous 19 hrs. Makers plz bring up next season asap.
phulamazon Loved the show, so sad to see only one season, and that also from 2010, this show was really ahead of its time!
desaishiv-41336 The show is great representation of the difficulties and decisions involved in arranged marriages in India, specially around 2010s. A lot of things have changed since then, but this shows still manages to capture the essence of how marriage bureaus work with people and the experiences those people have!
vic00715 I searched for this show for more reviews at IMDb. Frankly, I was eager to find out whether there would be a season two coming out or not since the ending of first season left us on a cliffhanger.Every once in a while we come across a show that moves our soul, to make us think if we'd done the same thing in those situations or just become a deaf to our instincts and miss out on the best parts of our life. This show moved me. It felt natural to laugh with them characters and I felt a gumption to write a review or if I am feeling to lazy to feel it, read a review. Surprise, surprise i found none, nada , not a single review, but only ratings. Considering how this venture is a benchmark for Indian television,it's almost preposterous to not review it considering the age we live where Indians love to gush upon the foreign material, the good the bad and missing the diamond in their backyard. Not that its a bad thing but gotta appreciate whats done right. And this is what done right. This show effortlessly stands with the likes of "Nukaad", "Buniyaad", "Sea Hawks" and "yeh Jo hai zindagi" ....... What makes "Rishta.com" a utter masterpiece in Indian Tele house is the maturity that it commands and muster the contents of practical life elements so elegantly through its main protagonist played by Shruti Seth and Kavi Shastri. You fall in love with the characters in first episode itself that leaves you content with the feeling "that the second episode would be worth waiting". It spells you to fall in love with each and every character including the supporting cameos by new comers. I acknowledge the talent of "Mr.Seth" the director of this show. Now coming to the plot: Rishta.com follows Shruti Seth as Isha Mirchandani and a new face, Kavi Shastri as Rohan Mehra and Kavin Dave as Huzaifa. They are extremely opposite but compassionate souls who claim to be living life the right way. The story of two contrasting individuals namely Isha and Rohan who ventures to open a matrimonial agency and try to unite the matches made in heaven and hence play cupid. While accomplishing the most arduous job, they encounter extreme cases, and illogical requests from their clients. As two strikingly different individuals, the way they deal with these circumstances proves the line that men are from mars and women are from Venus. What follows is series of hilarity and the perfect sweet-salty recipe for a "Happily Ever After". The plot seems simple but the presentation is Eureka!! Every frame has a fresh feel to it...specially the way they did the cinematography which equalizes any big budget contemporary bollywood movie.... However there are parts which can bore those who are used to Saas-Bahu and conventional family serials but rest assured one can guarantee that it is worth every bit of it.Check it out and grab a bowl of maggie for a marathon!!
