Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Pacionsbo Absolutely Fantastic
Lachlan Coulson This is a gorgeous movie made by a gorgeous spirit.
Caryl It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Chelsea G. Enjoyed it for what is; a light and ridiculous comedy. Unrealistic, but easy to watch when you don't have anything to do.The characters are alright at best. The baby is a minor character at best. None of the episodes would have been rated more than a B+ by me.Stopped watching 17 episodes into Season One due to a tasteless joke at the expense of Pitbulls, saying the worst thing that could happen to the baby was that a Pitbull could eat her. As a Pitbull owner I cannot support a show that reinforces the stigma and demonizes the breed. I know that seems like a minor thing to quit a show over, but it's the little things that like that make people afraid of my dogs. I think it's very important not to support something that perpetuates these fallacies, even if it was just one line.
The_late_Buddy_Ryan A binge-watchable sitcom with consistently good writing, enjoyably over-the-top plot lines, a great cast and a great premise—goofy son of working-class family impregnates serial killer during their first and only encounter, gets custody of the baby... Martha Plimpton is always fabulous; nice that Garret Dillahunt gets to play a good-hearted family guy this time instead of a snitch ("12 Years a Slave") or a psycho ("Deadwood"); Cloris Leachman (b. 1926) rocks out as intermittently lucid Maw Maw, and the younger cast members are adorable. I was sorry that Fox made showrunner Gregory Garcia change the original title—"Keep Hope Alive"—but on the plus side each episode is only 21 minutes long, so if you watch the whole series on streaming, you'll be missing over 13 hours of commercials...
Shopaholic35 Raising Hope is like My Name Is Earl's weird bogan cousin. Still incredibly funny but not quite as good. It would make sense that the comedy style and idea are very similar as they are both from the same creator.Initially I thought the episodes were hilarious but as I progressed I realised that the characters were not as charming or endearing. They are extremely rough around the edges and pretty gross. I still can't help but laugh though. One of my favourite parts of the show is seeing the actor crossovers from My Name Is Earl. It's nice to see familiar faces take on a new role. I also really enjoy the family dynamic of the Chance family. When it counts they are there for each other. It's nice.Overall Raising Hope is a funny show that has a few blah moments but is mostly successful.
tsh85 I am so thrilled that this show has been renewed for another season. Season 4 is already off to a wonderful start. I can't begin to express how much I appreciate the subtleties and hidden innuendo's that this show projects. The writers are brilliant beyond compare. Well done Gregory Thomas Garcia for creating such a wonderful show. I was thoroughly impressed with Season 4, episode 2 "Burt Bucks".....kudos to Joey Gutierrez for writing such an amazing episode. I'm looking forward to another incredible Season. I hope this show continues for many years to come. I love the entire cast, and I love the way that we get to watch them grow each season. Hope is about the most adorable little child actress on television, and Martha Plimpton has always been one of my favorites (since she was a child). Maw Maw is hilarious, and I just love what Cloris Leachman has done with her character. For a 87 year old lady, she is as spry as they come. Keep up the good work Fox. Normally I am not very impressed by the programming on Fox, but this show has opened my eyes and made me take a step back. Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
