richter101 I'd like to preface this review by saying there's a reason I always get with hot chicks and get along with most people. I'm not the best looking guy but I have a fantastic sense of Humor and understand culture.I hope that brief summary allows you to take my review a bit more seriously then the 0 Star Squad..Like many other positive reviewers though, I personally wasn't a fan of a satanic theme. But Man.. if you're gonna put it anywhere, put it in a Dog! That's brilliant. Facts Some characters are overly goofy. There's: - obese guy and I thought that was disgusting, but kinda forgave the writers when they based an episode around him having a contrast lifestyle which was being extremely rich and working at his telemarketing job for fun. - Sheriff is goofy but majority of skits are so many good moments and his character is perfect for this Dark World that's been set up. - Grandpa is amazing!! His relationship with the Dog is one of the strongest parts of the show. The fact that the Dog is always messing with him and because he's old no one believes him and is just like "You and your stories!" - Mr. Pickles= LEGEND. At first he's so sick in the head but then you see he mostly kills bad people and his antics. Randomly fornicating things. (imdb censored me a lot) Always getting his face up the moms parts. His underground lair of course.. The random quirks, but allows us to relate. Like he takes tap dancing classes. And of course, the love he has for his dumb owner. - Dad is similar to Rick and Morty dad. - The also Rick and Morty TV nostalgia show about the Space Dolphin. Wow. Funny.And the plot each episode is fresh and is able to be thanks to the World which so many reviewers hate. In conclusion if you're a forward thinking person and can laugh at messed up situations. Then you will fall in love.And if that's not you.. Then you should play in traffic.

j_sinr Wow! I was completely awestruck when I stumbled upon this crazy show. I haven't seen a cartoon this bold and entertaining in a long time. I truly believe this is one of the best cartoon series of it's genre. It's certainly not for everyone. Definitely not for the prudish, the uptight, or the closed minded. It's wicked fun and pokes fun at everything that needs to be poked. If you like the weird, odd, gross, disturbing underground comics style of cartoon humor this is top of the line. I can't wait for the next season. I hope for many more seasons and definitely an origin story! Kudos to the creators and those who help make it an amazing show. Keep up the good work!

c-33198 Before I begin... I do indeed think this show is WORSE than King Star King. At least that was..... somewhat more.... better.First off.... the FREAKING violence. That's literally the whole show. Gruesome death after gruesome death. How are we supposed to laugh here? Well, it actually tries to subvert 50's life, but you see the joke coming EVERY SINGLE TIME.It does not help that the shock value is among the cheapest I've EVER seen- by FAMILY GUY standrads, so even dark humor lovers will likely scoff.Lastly, the animators just didn't care, judging by the grisly colors and poor animation. And they way Grandpa (probably the best character in the show) is treated is just cruel.Overall, among the worst TV Shows produced by BOTH Cartoon Network/Adult Swim AND one of the worst TV Shows, period. Don't listen to everyone praising this crud.

jstanton-65580 i thought mr. pickles was a fantastic show and so did the two co- workers i recommended it to. yes it is sick and gross and dark but who gives a s&$#? if you are religious or a prude don't watch and certainly don't review because this show is not made for you. while mr. pickles is sick he is a great dog to the young boy and most of the crazy stuff he does is to protect or avenge the boy, or to screw with the grandpa and make him out to be insane. the sheriff is also pretty funny, a pretty good take on some law enforcers. it certainly blows super jail out of the water and is probably tied with squidbillies for the best show on adult swim. i really hope there is a second season
