sbuffyrey i have a question, i watched today for the first time an enjoyed 4 or 6 episode's of it. i was wondering about the one lady who got her foot tattooed, she mentioned something about the reason she was getting it was for a woman who was in the works of a book. she had the word "runs" put on her foot. i was wondering if you could give me the name of the book or author. i am a person with tattoos and saw it., but didn't pay much attention to it until today. sorry it took so long. i'm glad to have stumbled on A&E TV. i am really curious about this book in the making. can you help? i have tattoos but they were badly done and didn't think i would be interested again, now i see that people are doing what seems to be better works. thanks and i'll be watching. sa7717 i love watching inked.Thomas is hot but Carey hart is hotter.i loved all the tattoos that they did.wouldn't mind getting one myself.i think Quinn is a airhead she never took her job seriously.i wish i had a job like that i wouldn't mess it up either.Dizzle is cool i liked it when he dressed up in drag.he was pretty cute all dressed up in drag.i so want a tattoo done by Thomas.i hope that Monica and Thomas are happy. I've watched every episode.they should open a tattoo shop where i live they would get a lot of bis.or even do a TV show at one of the tattoo shops would be really great.i cant wait to see a episode that i haven't seen.i wouldn't miss it for the world. i love all the great designs.
jeff-814 Based upon the success of the pilot episode INKED on A&E, the network has ordered the first 13 episodes and are an hour each. The series should debut in late March 2005.Since the shop has a high turnover in it's employee's I believe there will be many new faces in the Hart and Huntington tattoo company. The pilot episode was a very cool, fun show and I enjoyed watching. It was very entertaining from a real life soap opera style, but at the same time it stayed true to the art of tattooing.I have 2 tattoo's, I don't consider myself a hardcore tat freak, but I enjoyed all the elements to the show. A friend of min worked on the show and told me that you will not believe what happens during the first season! I cant wait. Bring it on!
WrathChld I see all these reality shows coming on the air, left and right. This is a documentary type where they go into a new business venture. There are shows like "Blow Out" and "The Casino". I don't like hair saloons, but it was interesting to see how people dealt with a new business. I only saw a couple of episodes. I guess I lost interest because I have no interest in that business. Then with the casino show, I thought I might have more of an interest. I did, although the show itself wasn't very good. I just feel it lacks the realness a reality/documentary show should have. Tonight I accidentally stumbled on A&E's new series "Ink'd" and I was totally excited.I am an artist and I love tattoos. I have a bunch of tattoos myself and frequently incorporate tattoos in my illustrations. I am actually debating getting into the business. I was thinking, finally they got something I will like. I can get the type of show I like with a topic I love. Tonight was the first episode and it was really cool. The concept of the show is it's the first tattoo parlor in a casino in Vegas. We get to follow John Huntington and his staff in this new venture. We already had two of the employees fired. One was a tattoo artist and the other was a receptionist. We got to see tons of celebrities at the grand opening and John's wife gave birth to a baby girl. The show seems cool so far and because I have an interest in the content of the show, I feel it will be a good ride. I hope the show stays interesting and maybe it will make me really consider a career in tattoos. If anything, I hope I am able to go get ink very soon. It has been a whole 8 months since my last tattoo, which is way too long. lol.Check out the show. It is too early to see if it will be a good one, but I will continue to check it out.I just wanted to add, I haven't see this on since I wrote this comment. I had no indications that it was meant to be a special rather than a series. It was enjoyable and I hope they can bring it back as a series.
