Synopsis

Detective Raimy Sullivan is stunned when a voice suddenly crackles through her father’s old, long-broken ham radio – it’s Frank Sullivan, somehow transmitting over the airwaves and through the decades from 1996. Separated by twenty years, father and daughter have reunited on a frequency only they can hear, but can they rewrite the story of their lives without risking everyone they love?

Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Borserie it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
mikentrish Held my interest from beginning to end... I have no idea why there were bad reviews... You can't compare a tv series to a movie.. I loved both for different reasons...
lev-nemkin I just got done watching this tv series as a huge fan of the movie when I first tried getting into it in 2016 when it first started I kind of thought I may not end up liking it so about 3 episodes in I stopped watching but now I finally decided to pick it up again I rewatched the first 3 episodes I'd already seen with an open mind...it ended up sucking me in I had to know what was going to happen next I loved this it held my interest not once was I bored this is definitely one of the best tv shows based on a movie that I've seen. Peyton List as Raimy Sullivan was just awesome so was Riley Smith as her dad Frank who she communicates to through the ham radio in 1996 not going to spoil too much for those of you who haven't seen it but they do change things with their actions in this too for example in the beginning of the show Frank is undercover and Raimy knows he's going to end up getting killed so she tips him off about it so he's able to defend himself then after he survives it changes and he's alive for a little longer he actually gets to see her follow in his footsteps by becoming a cop. The same serial killer also is in this which I like...The Nightingale who abducts and murders nurses the hunt for him is interesting only in this he isn't a dirty cop in this he's just the stepson of a church Deacon I'm sorry for that spoiler. Anyway if you like the movie I'd say definitely give this a look but it definitely ended on a cliffhanger it was only the Season 1 finale I definitely want to see it continued I hope eventually they do but they haven't since last year so my guess is there was really no faith in it not many people liked it so they decided not to continue it it did get good ratings for the most part though so I don't understand it I really hope they do decide to continue it.
david_h-66615 So Raimy can see the changes occurring... Why can't anyone else? Raimy changes the past, and says she basically has 2 memories. One with her father shot and killed, and the 2nd where her father lives. Shouldn't everyone that would have been affected by this difference also have these 2 versions of their memory?I was really disappointed that the show didn't go further with the guy in jail talking to himself in the future. The timing of the changes in the present only taking affect when something exactly 20 years ago occurs, seems very weird to me. I mean, if she told her dad about him dying, the moment she told him, the present should have immediately changed to him having died 5 years prior in a car accident. The information she gave him caused the deviation, not the actual event itself.I'm just sitting here imagining that Frank now uses the information about the car accident to intentionally not go into any cars during that year, and then when the moment Frank was supposed to die happens, Frank will just pop up in the present timeline as some elderly guy. Maybe someone else dies that ended up doing something important and Raimy's reality changes in front of her again.Raimy's present changing in front of her eyes is a big problem. People just disappearing from her reality while she does not doesn't make sense. It would be interesting to see Raimy caught on security footage where she originally was about to shoot Goff. Did the cameras now just see her throw nobody into her squad car, beat the crap out of nobody, and pull her gun on nothing at all?My last concern is that the young Raimy from the past may never use the Ham radio to tell her father 20 years prior that he is going to die the initial way as she only knows of him dying from a car accident. What on earth is going to happen then?! Will Frank die in the sting, or in a car accident? Will past Raimy's memory of her father dying in a car accident get overlapped with him dying the initial way?.... I have to just stop thinking about this...I have to admit, time travel/manipulation shows are very very tough, so in order to enjoy the show, I tried to just ignore issues with it.
Ovidiu Mihail This series is a pleasant surprise. The action is exciting, the actors have performed well and there are portions that bored. Unfortunately assessments are fewer than worth series .... The way to drive action between 1996 and 2016 is remarkable considering that currently exists between the two moments 20 years full of significant changes in people's habits. Can discuss how changing just past influences residual memory of some people, but this is less important. The leading actress is the perfect choice is a complex mixture of strength and sensitivity that allows it to create a believable character. I did not see the last two episodes but I think the whole show is watched and appreciated :)
