Curapedi I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
StyleSk8r At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Scarlet The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Curtis G. I'm not ashamed to admit that as a 40-year-old man, I watched every episode of this series. Sure, it was a tween clone of "Lost," but in some ways it was the superior show. Why? Because (spoilers) at the end, they get rescued from the island; the audience wasn't left with bunch of unresolved story threads; and the writers didn't Deus Ex Machina their way out of a corner by making the island Purgatory when they explicitly claimed in the first season that it wasn't Purgatory. #NotStillBitterWellMaybeALittleAlso, why isn't Johnny Pacar a huge star by now?
indigochronicles15 This is a really good show. I was surprised, because I thought it was a ripoff of "Lost", but now I know that the show actually started production before "Lost" did. The main actors on the show are all good, and it's well-written. The talented young cast (Allen Alvarado, Corbin Bleu, Hallee Hirsh, Jeremy Kissner, Johnny Pacar, Lauren Storm, and Kristy Wu) are all great and will all have great careers after the show ends. Bleu's career, in particular, is kicking off with a bang after the huge successes of his Disney movies, "High School Musical" and "Jump In". Great ensemble cast, great show. I look forward to seeing these actors in other movies and TV shows in the future.
aisha1929 This is the best show on Discovery Kids.I was already a Corbin Bleu Fan. When I found out that Corbin was going to be in this show, I felt that I just had to watch it.This show reminds me of Lost and Survivor. Although I think that Flight 29 Down is much better. All of the cast names are Corbin Bleu(Nathan), Allen Alvarado(Lex), Hallee Hirsh(Daley), Johnny Pacar(Jackson), Jeremy James Kissner(Eric), Lauren Storm(Taylor), and Kristy Wu(Melissa). It is written by Stan Rogow, who is also wrote scripts for Lizzie McGuire. All of my siblings love it. I like this show so much that I bought the book, which tells the beginning of what happened , before the show started. I give it three thumbs up.
shootingstar135 i really think that the two shows(flight 29 down and lost) are a LOT alike, especially with their choices of characters....Nathan-i really find him as a kind of Michael, he tries to be helpful and he's really smart...but like Michael, he sometimes lacks the "instinctive" qualities...he also sometimes tries to help, but turns out as a burden to the rest of his castaways Daley-she's kind of like Kate or Jack, she is definitely the wannabee leader, and she has that same kind of snooty, know-it-all attitude Jack sometimes has Lex-ithink he's either a Walt or Sayid...like Walt and Sayid, he often finds himself being misunderstood by others and like Walt, he often gets brushed aside Taylor-an obvious Shannon, the same preppy girl qualityis found in both of them Melissa-an obvious Sun, though Sun is MUCH more mature than Melissa Jackson-i think he's a good Charlie...he's the kind of person you would see sitting in a corner with their hood pulled over their head...also, Jackson-like Charlie-is the "go between" among the survivors, they both often break up fights that are about to happenEric-i have to admit, Eric is my favorite character on the show...probably because he reminds me so much of Sawyer...they both are jokesters and pranksters, they both have a kind of charm with the ladies, and they both have had a near-death experience
