Platicsco Good story, Not enough for a whole film
Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Bluebell Alcock Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Earl_Sheppard_777 I loved the show, I think the obstacles that were before every fight really prepared the fighters to give all they got if they did or didn't to so well. One thing that I didn't like as much was you cannot use knockout techniques. Other than that everything else was good to go. I was proud of Daniel S. for a job well done, he kept the greatness for the style of the ninja. Ernie R. was a good host and he kept a reminder to his martial artist where their points lie and how to focus the greatness of their styles. I hope there will be another season of the final fu, and the tradition continues. The final fu is a perfect area to display speed and techniques without someone getting seriously hurt or killed during a fight.
ucastellanos I know that MTV only looks at the young and the beautiful in order to get good ratings for their shows. This show, Final Fu is a unrealistic look at what makes a real Martial Artist. Mr Ernie Reyes Jr. should know this! The fights are not practical.I don't think that going through these "so called" obstacle courses proves anything. I'm a martial artist. I train in American Kenpo and I've trained in Kajukenbo. I was very disappointed when I saw these episodes. I think they should have young as well as older martial artists. The fights should be more realistic, with head gear for head contact. The obstacle courses should be more realistic. These producers should stop looking at ratings and let the public see real Martial Artists!! DON'T SUPPORT THIS SHOW!!
dragongirl_riku I found this show very entertaining and addictive. I am a martial artist myself from Master Ernie Reyes Jr's father's school. While some people seem to believe that the judges are bias from my personal experience they are judging correctly. The show is different from other "reality" show which I cannot stand. The show closely reflects the teachings of martial arts and is entertaining in general. as a martial artist I find points in the show funny and the fights are really good. There are times when I get a little upset at some of the contestants but overall the show is fantastic and I would recommend it to everyone martial artist or other wise.
bluesman_1103 It's nice to see a reality show/competition that focuses on the competition and not the drama. Give me more!! The only thing is I was hoping to see some Chinese stylists on. I know there are 3 more weeks and plenty more fighters to show up. It would be cool to see this go beyond one season, too. I haven't followed his martial arts career for some time but I do remember seeing Master Reyes in a few movies. It's amazing how much he resembles his father, now. If anyone else reads this and they agree with me please take a few minutes and let MTV know how you feel. Do the traditional stylists a favor and help rescue us from the all powerful UFC.
