MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting

SanEat A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."
Robert Joyner The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Rasheed Zelig Thomas Courage the Cowardly Dog isn't one of the shows that all children would love but for the ones that do, they love it forever. The creator, John Dilworth is nothing like the other cartoonists. Judging by what he does outside from Courage the Cowardly Dog, he can come off as being creepy and unusual but that's what I love about him. He's different and doesn't care. I believe this cartoon is representing himself in a way because he has a thing for unusual- ness. It's horror/humor theme isn't like Scooby-Doo. It goes beyond that using a mixture of 2D and 3D art styles. The 3D animation is creepy and sometimes scary for even adults. Most of it is also unpredictable. But somehow it still remains true to being children- friendly. This could be because the show is giving some life lessons but in a unique way of doing it. Either way, Courage The Cowardly Dog is still one of Cartoon Network's best shows and I can only hope for something in the future.
GravityLoudHouseLover1 Hello again Today I'm going to review another great Cartoon Network show that I watch as a kid called Courage the Cowardly Dog. This show is about a dog named Courage who lives in the middle of nowhere with his owners Muriel and Eustace Bagge. My Favorite Character is Eustace who is a mean old man who calls Courage a Stupid Dog all the time. My Favorite episode is The Mask wear a masked person comes to the farm and Courage has to find out about her. My favorite villain is Katz who is a cat who is always trying harm Courage. Anyway Cartoon Network may not air Courage the Cowardly Dog anymore but it's still on Netflix. Anyway I'm giving this show a 10 out of 10 stars. See you later. Updated on May 7th, 2016
Wilhelmina Powell Courage the Cowardly Dog is one of my childhood's fondest memories. Most of the episodes are dark, creepy, yet brilliant and makes you think. I rarely see shows like Courage nowadays. The voice actors are talented and perfect for the roles of Courage, Muriel, Eustace, the smart aleck computer, etc. There's also hidden meanings and morals in most of the episodes. In 'Mask,' there are references to feminism and domestic violence. In the episode where Courage discovers that one of the library books he borrowed from the local library are overdue (I forgot the name of the episode), the moral is "return what you owe." There are also some creepy, and sometimes downright disturbing episodes. There was an episode that haunted me for years, but yet, I love it; it's called 'King Ramses' Curse.' 'King Ramses' Curse' is one of the many episodes of Courage that would scar you for life. The antagonist of the episode (or should I say "victim of Eustace's greed," considering Eustace stole what isn't his) is the undead King Ramses, whose slab was stolen by Eustace, and he told them to "return the slab or suffer my curse" (one of the most memorable quotes from the show). Despite its scary episodes, it's a very good show overall. Both kids and adults can watch it and love it because it lacks childish humor, all of the characters are lovable, makes you think, etc. Too bad Cartoon Network cancelled this show so they could make room for their stupid, new shows. If you have never watched this show before and you find a DVD of it or it just happens to be on the air, I highly recommend you watch it; you won't regret it.
zzzac-873-166168 Wow where to begin? This show definitely left a prominent mark on my childhood. The show focuses on a Dog named Courage, and his owners Muriel and Eustace, who live in the middle of nowhere. But creepy stuff happens in nowhere and its up to courage to save the day! Now this show was very different from other kids shows at the time, because it was designed to scare its viewers and have comedic relief. Now I use the term "kids show" lightly, this show scared the crap out of a lot of kids including me. Back in 2000, I was just a six year old boy when I started watching this. After rewatching it, I'm shocked this was considered OK for kids. This show had dark undertones, demonic spirits, heads coming of, body humor and freaken scary moments. Now most episodes involve Courage facing off against a certain villain/monster and saving Muriel. The King Ramses Episode seemed to scare most kids, but when I was six I was scared of the locusts, not Ramses himself like most kids at the time. But there was one episode that freaked me out. It was "Courage in the big stinking city" where a Roach named schwik takes Courage Eustace and Muriel to stay in his room. Courage then imagines Schwik biting off Muriel's head, and that wasn't the scariest part. The scene where Courage opens a door and a mild girl is seen playing a violin, then proceeds to turn around and reveal this freaky demonic face with a loud roar. I will tell you what, this episode scared the spit out of me. The girl looked very realistic to me, and I thought this stuff existed in real life. Seeing it again I realized it was just claymation, but it still scares me.Another thing to note is it TV-Y7 rating. It seems really wild for a kids show. Heads come off, zombies rise from the grave, a lot of dark undertones and terrifying figures. This Show should definitely be rated TV-PG, it seems like the creators ignored the rating and made a show with absolute freedom. I'm really surprised I was allowed to watch this show, its probably the second scariest kids show next to Ren and Stimpy.I've seen most of the episodes and some of my favorite include "Herman Habitrail" "Journey to the sun" "Zolast Tower"sorry Im not sure if that's what the episodes are called. Another thing I like is the art style, the animation is Fantastic! Although a lot of times the objects the characters use are really large sometimes. This show is also hilarious! In the Ramses episode, Eustace plans to sell the slab for a million dollars, but plans to use the money to buy "lawn chairs, spark plugs and a light bulb for the attic". He also directly made fun of Ramses by saying "he could see the zipper on that cheap costume". This is also the first cartoon to make me cry of sadness. "Remembrance of Courage Past" the last episode tells of how Courages parents were launched into space. The episode got to me when courage was thrown in a dumpster then waves to his parents and then proceeds to cry. This was the only cartoon to make me cry, that's how good it is. But the reason I rated Courage a 9 instead of 10 was a lot of the latter season episodes seemed stale or rushed. But overall one of my favorite Cartoon Network original shows. It really saddens me seeing what Cartoon Network has become. There new shows just don't have heart and seem more like toned down Adult Swim shows. And they have so many new shows that are spinoffs of movies and web shows. I miss the good shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Jhonny Bravo, Dexter's Lab and Powerpuff Girls. It really seems like no one can make a good cartoon anymore. They no longer can get away with what they used to, and the widespread use of CGI and the internet has serverlgy hurt cartoons. Now they are made just for a quick Buck, then get cancelled in one year. They seriously need some better cartoons. But Courage will always be one of my favorites and I know I'm not the only one who loves it to death. 9/ 10
