Reviews

Perry Kate Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
KnotStronger This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
mdfirefighter The show itself is fairly good, decent acting and good story line but, the filming location is a constant irritation while watching. The scenery looks nothing like the area around the real Chesapeake Bay. Got to love those snow capped mountains along the shore, wait, there are no snow capped mountains along the Chesapeake shore. You would think that with today's editing ability they could do something about it. Oh well, haven't decided if I am going to keep on watching or not.
margyette As someone who grew up on the Chesapeake and moved away, I started watching this hoping to see familiar sights of my beloved Bay. It's filmed in Canada. I won't go into how this makes me feel, but suffice to say, I don't think they should be allowed to call it "Chesapeake shores" and not go anywhere near the Chesapeake. The show is okay, but not original or good enough that I got engrossed enough to see past that. I'm a pretty easy sell, so that's... really fairly bad.
Arlene Price It has been a long time since there has been a show that everyone can enjoy and this show fills the bill. It is my hope that this series will continue since you have us all very attached to the characters and story theme. I look forward to Sunday 9:00 p.m. and don't want to lose my enthusiasm! I enjoy the relationship between family members and how they all react differently to their parent's early separation--as viewers who have had similar situations can truly relate. I also love that you included the grandmother role--she's great--strong but kind! The parents both show strength and caring toward the family. I like that there is always a musical segment with Jesse Metcalf!
jnaughton-84047 I like the show. It had a lot of predictable moments but I love the setting, the family support the characters show to each other and all around warmth and sweet sentiment. Just what I need after a long day and when I want to curl up and watch a show that is enjoyable and light. I love Treat Williams he is such a joy to watch and the sisters have good chemistry. The lead actress does a good job keeping the show going and I enjoyed her work on Once Upon A Time. As for some drawbacks,it has a bit too much gloss to it and typical scenarios you would find on hallmark but I think the kinks could be worked out and hopefully the writers will go a little deeper with the drama and characters. i look forward to more episodes.
