Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
Deanna There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.
otter-stl I didn't know this was based on a video game. Or was the video game based on this movie? Doesn't matter to me. I won't buy the video game and I also could not watch this movie all the way to the end. Yes, it was that bad. What I did see was bad dialogue, decent makeup, lots of blood and acting like they did no retakes. I found myself skipping ahead several times to the action scenes. This was because what the main characters had to say wasn't important. Are they ever important in zombie movies? Skip this farce and do something, anything else. Like read a book. NO zombies! :)
CousinBagunca It's a zombie movie. That sums things up entirely.Dead Rising: Watchtower (2015) doesn't add up to the genre. It's, yet, another zombie flick. Nope, it isn't bad. It's just another one.I don't have much to say about it. People who likes zombie movies will get entertained. Also, I have to mention that this is a movie based on a game and, surprisingly, it's a fine movie! You'll get Dead Rising (talking about the game now) references everywhere. Sometimes, it's even kinda annoying. Not sure about Frank West's character in the movie, though. He let me down a bit.Graphical effects were fine, but, sometimes, blood spatter can look unrealistic, because it's rendered as cheap effects.Overall, Dead Rising: Watchtower is fine. Oh, yeah... it's a zombie movie!
trashgang Can someone tell the big bosses in Hollywood to stop making a game into a franchise. Seriously, tell me one that really works. I think I can count them on one hand. But still they do make them and with the zombie hype going on for years now they tried to make a franchise out of the much acclaimed DeadRising game. Nowadays DeadRising 3 is out only on Xbox One but it's got a big problem. Nobody really likes it. The story is weak and it's a bit of the same going on. Let that be exactly what they did with this flick. Weak story and clocking in at just under 2 hours it's way too long. Just go play Dying Light, it's scary and do has a lot going on. And again, that's what isn't happening here, sure, a lot is going on but it never is frightening or gory. What did make the game (the first entry) great was that you could make your own weapons. And you could recognise those here throughout the flick and that's what I did, searching what I did see in the game. But what did made it sometimes rather boring was the news studio, Frank West wasn't funny but annoying. For me it was way too long and rather a weak story and clearly made for teens wanting to watch the flick after the game. Gore 0,5/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 2,5/5 Story 2/5 Comedy O/5
tim-1419 I loved this film. From almost the beginning a thread of dark humour followed the plot that kept a wry smile on my face. The usual servings of political, criminal and military bad guys who richly deserve a gruesome end, and the poor innocent zombies just being zombies. Toss in a miracle drug called "Zombex" (of course!) and a raft of home-made anti zombie weaponry of mixed effectiveness and you have a movie worthy of a night in. The survivor of the last zombie outbreak being interviewed on a live news show is hilarious, but those who think this was the only humour have missed a lot. Watch out for the zombie clown, genius!!!
