Alicia I love this movie so much
Derrick Gibbons An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Fleur Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
slider9499 After six episodes, I still have no idea what is going on. The first episode was good, then it started it's slow roll downhill. I don't care about any of the characters except the somewhat psychic neighbor. Lots of hype. Unfortunately doesn't nearly live up to it or what was expected.Reminds me of Westworld and Sharp Objects. Both of these shows just ramble on and one without any clear path or direction. Not for me.
Jima-36-585491 Why do writers (producers?) insist on telling a two or three hour story in 11 hours? This is not a good story yet, but it is a boring story now.
Anna_Korol Don't know what else to say, it's just boring. I can't wait to see the next season of "Mr. Mercedes"
henryshear This show is truly creepy! The characters are truly creepy, but the creepiest part for me is the town itself. The directors of each episode truly make you feel that Castle Rock is empty and you can imagine it being home to great terrors. Bill Skarsgard is amazing in his role. He does not speak very much, but he is truly captivating and every scene he is in I am just absolutely enthralled. Sissy Spacek is amazing as always, she plays a very convincing senile woman. The show is very slow, but new information is steadily trickled slowly throughout the episodes. There are many big mysteries that keep you interested as well. I will not spoil, but Scott Glenn's eponymous character Alan Pangborn has many secrets about the town of Castle Rock that ties to the show's central mysteries, but the writers do a good job of tantalizing the audience. I suggest this show for anyone, it is amazing, but the only downside is how slow it is at times.
