SnoReptilePlenty Memorable, crazy movie
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Donald Seymour This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
stephen-manktelow I saw this series in 2018. What struck me was the similarities with the Skripal poisoning case in the UK. The series was not very good, though.
darrien-55585 Wow - ! I watch a lot of shows online because they simply don't show where I live.I started watching Allegiance 2 days ago, and I've finished season 1...and then learn, that there will be no season 2! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!????? Gutted - ! It's SUCH a good show...!! I was thinking excitedly ahead to season 2, thinking 'this will DEFINITELY be a repeat!" It's different from the usual stuff, although close enough that it's something most would give a go...and then get hooked! The Characters are for the most part really cool, and the potential between some of them - is awesome! I thought it's so close in quality to Grimm, ...Suits...and several others that have seen several seasons.....and the actors are people who I think would be developed and grown to connect with us. What a shame it's not going to see more seasons. Please someone - pick up the show!!!!!
SnoopyStyle Alex O'Connor (Gavin Stenhouse) is a rookie CIA analyst with an odd personality. He's brought in to work on a defecting Russian agent because she is sure not to know him. Only nobody including Alex himself knows that his mother Katya (Hope Davis), father Mark (Scott Cohen) and sister Natalie (Margarita Levieva) are all working for the Russian. His younger sister Sarah doesn't know either. Michelle Prado (Floriana Lima) is his work partner. Victor Dobrynin (Morgan Spector) is the family's handler. There is a deadly operation codename Black Dagger that is about to devastate America.A few things kept bugging me about the show but it may be making a turn. It was very annoying to have Alex keep missing. It's also silly to expect Alex would buy into his mother's lies. There's also too much 'National Treasure' in this. When Alex finds out, it opens up the show to good possibilities. It hasn't fulfilled those possibilities yet after 5 episodes and the show is already canceled. I'm not complaining with such low ratings, it's fully expected. It was on the borderline with some promise at improvements.
rnixon1974 There are several reviewers who call this show a ripoff of "The Americans". To this rather true assessment, I say this: yes...so what? About 90% of the cop shows on TV are ripoffs of Dragnet, Adam 12 and TJ Hooker (among others). All of the crime scene procedurals are ripoffs of CSI.The majority of sci fi shows out there mimic Star Trek in some major way. The others steal from Star Wars, X-Men or another easily identifiable antecedent. This copycat behavior is what Hollywood does. I don't say this is a good thing, far from it. But it's what gets approved and broadcast. As to the show itself... the show's dialogue is actually better than most dramas out here. As good as "The Americans" is, this show gives it a run for its money. Cue cards notwithstanding.Forgive the ethnocentrism, but as a non-Russian, I don't actually care if most of the actors aren't native Russian speakers (Levieva is, I believe). Nor do I care that their accents do not ring true. For those debating if the show is worth their 45 minutes, I say give the first episode a look. So far, it's a helluva lot better than many recent shows.
