Rijndri Load of rubbish!!
Ceticultsot Beautiful, moving film.
Sexyloutak Absolutely the worst movie.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Rainey Dawn Three stories and each story gets better than the last. And yes the last story is the creepiest - freakiest - the Zuni fetish doll. The first story "Julie" and the second "Millicent and Therese" are suspenseful thrillers that are well worth watching. The third story "Amelia" is horrifying - it will scare the pants off of you.If you have not seen "Trilogy of Terror" do so!! It is one of the best made for TV horror movies that you will ever see.By the way, the Zuni fetish doll you will see in the third story of "Trilogy of Terror" makes Chucky look just like "Child's Play". Chucky cannot hold a candle to the Zuni. Zuni rules, Chucky drools.9/10
utgard14 Famous TV horror anthology directed by Dan Curtis and based on short stories by Richard Matheson. Each segment stars Karen Black. First story is "Julie," about a prudish teacher who is drugged, molested, and blackmailed by a student (Robert Burton). This is the weakest story with a ridiculous ending. Second story is "Millicent and Therese," about two sisters. One believes the other is evil and kills her. This segment is better than the first but the twist is pretty obvious. The third story "Amelia" is the most famous. It's about a Zuni fetish doll that comes alive and attacks a woman all around her apartment. This is the story most people remember the movie for. It's a great little horror tale with a clever ending. All in all, it's a good but not great movie. It's helped by the fact that it's made-for-TV so I cut it some slack. The third story is undoubtedly awesome but the first two are forgettable. Still, it's worth recommending to most horror fans to check it out. It was followed 21 years later by a terrible sequel.
billcr12 Three stories in a Twilight Zone style, all featuring Karen Black, is a mildly amusing trilogy from 1975. Robert Matheson is the source material. Black is first Julie, a school marm college professor with hair pulled up into a bun and old fashioned eyeglasses. A student takes a liking to her and convinces the outwardly shy teacher to attend a drive in movie with him, where he drugs her and takes compromising pictures in order to force Julie into a relationship. She has a surprise ending, which is not a happy one. Black is both Millicent and Therese in the second story. Milly is a woman who presents a spinster image, and Therese is a blonde sex bomb in mini skirt. They despise each other and I figured it out very quickly. Number three is the most entertaining, as Emelia has returned home with a Zulu killer doll as a present for her boyfriend. On the phone, she tells mom that a scroll explains that the doll has an evil spirit which will be released if a gold chain is removed. Of course, the chain falls off and the little terror chases Black all over the place, with a sharp knife as a weapon. It is the best of the three and Ms. Black makes the seventy two minutes worthwhile.
tiffaniwst i really enjoyed this movie especially the last story about the zulu doll. my friend played the part of the zulu doll she did not get any credit for the movie i was really upset about this she played that part really well and they captured her real well. she went to college with me this was one of her best roles, her other role was the female gremlin on gremlins 2. they did my girl wrong and im really not feeling this. but she did her thing.she was wonderful im going to ask her if she is playing in any future movies, i reallty depending on her to do more roles for the future.they don't be giving us Negroes credit for these films, my girl was the major star in the film, but it was a great movie.
