In 2007, in the midst of the drought and water shortages, the NSW State government has unveiled plans to tap into and recycle millions of litres of water trapped in a network of abandoned train tunnels just beneath the heart of Sydney. However the government suddenly goes cold on the plan and it is not made public why. There is talk of homeless people who use the tunnel as shelter going missing, even though the government states that there are no homeless people in there. This, and the silence from the officials and ministers, leads a journalist, Natasha to begin an investigation into a government cover-up. She and her crew Pete (Producer), Steve (Cameraman) and Tangles (Sound Technichian) decide to investigate the story in the tunnel.

Reviews

XoWizIama Excellent adaptation.
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
Humaira Grant It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Beulah Bram A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
Adam Taylor The "found film" movies can be very hit or miss. Some are well done and suspenseful, others are just boring shaky-cam snoozes. This movie is a lesson in how it should be done. There is a wonderful mix of found footage and interviews which make it really come across as quality work. The monster gets very little screen time, but what it does get is well timed and wonderfully placed to add the proper amount of terror. The setting itself is creepy as hell. Even knowing it's just a movie, I would never want to find myself in those tunnels.A must watch for horror fans.
nysalesman Watched (more accurately: tried to watch) this movie based on the good reviews. Another Cloverfield, Rec, Paranormal Activity, or a mix of the three. One review even guaranteed that "you will be scared." Could it be that these people really watched the same movie? Or are they just studio hacks and friends of the producers/actors?The saddest thing is that the reviews didn't raise my expectations. I expected this to be a low budget movie that happens to be entertaining enough to give a watch. It wasn't.I found this movie poorly made, poorly executed, and extremely tedious. So much so, that I had to turn it off after the first 45 minutes as I kept finding myself falling asleep. The only horror in this movie is that it is horrible. You've been warned, so watch it at your own risk; or as a cure for insomnia.
TheAverageReviewer This movie does include a lot of tunnels but its not a good thing. This movie is about these journalists/rookie TV station that wants to explore the tunnels under Sydney due to homeless people living there but however there is a darker story inside the tunnels.I really felt glad seeing the imagery of Sydney AKA my Aussie pride but thats besides the point. The acting was great with all of the actors doing really well. The found footage was great with adding in every possible shot available in to the scenes. I really liked the tunnels i'm not sure if every room there was in this had the contents but it looked really authentic otherwise. The monster/ person in this was actually pretty cool i'm not gonna spoil it but its basically a jockey/beast oh and by jockey i mean the football kind( you see what i mean)It was actually pretty scary and tense at some points so i have to give it bonus points for that.I give it 7 out of 10 gouged eyeballs
jonnithomas I was really pleasantly surprised with this movie. The basic premise is promising but the storyline isn't so hot but it is held together by some excellent and very real solid acting.I don't like this type of movie usually but this didn't rely upon loud noises to make you jump or preposterous baddies and blood and guts.it was well directed and stayed within realistic boundaries to keep your interest.the four main actors acquitted themselves well and gave what could have been a bad film real life and interest.I don't understand why some people have been so unfriendly towards this film; perhaps they are fans of Texas Chain Saw and Amityville. It isn't that type of film.
