The Hamiltons seem to be the picture-perfect American family. They are hardworking community members; giving to their local charities, attending town hall meetings and always respectful of their neighbors...except for the fact that they usually end up killing them.

Micitype Pretty Good
Exoticalot People are voting emotionally.
Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
trashgang A rather mediocre score so I thought to give it a try but did I regret watching this piece of crap. There's so much talking going on and be honest you all out there, there's really nothing happening at all. There's no gore to find and when things go wrong with the captured ones there's nothing to see. each time you think, yes, this time we will see some torturing (made in the torture porn era) you are left with a bitter feeling. When we do have some red stuff it's so boring, maybe the bath scene is the best of it all but even that I would show to my 8 year old one at home. At the end the Hamiltons said it perfectly, indeed, go away to another part were we can find fresh blood, well, go and never come back, pleaaaaaase.Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 0/5 Story 1/5 Comedy 0/5
jfarms1956 The Hamiltons is a movie which is geared for horror fans where the horror is not of the supernatural kind. The film moves at a fairly slow pace. The Hamiltons sort of reminds me of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies. However, the Hamiltons does not have all the gore that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre has. It dos have some gore. I wish that storytellers would come up with other scenarios rather than a Texas Chainsaw Massacre do-over. It's been done, again and again. The characters are shallow and so is the plot. This is a good movie to have a TV watch party to. This is a late night movie. Popcorn all around here. Try to get something out of the movie.
Tcarts76 This was one of those films I first saw when I awoke in the middle of the night and just turned the TV on. Even after seeing it I didn't know its name until a year later. Sometimes that is when you find an interesting hidden gems. This vampire movie is more of a drama. It had its blood and gut parts, and the seductive erotic part as well, but this is no fantasy Twilight, Interview with a Vampire tween I wish I could date a vampire crap that is usually pushed on us.It was well acted by the entire cast. I honestly wouldn't even call it a monster/vampire/horror movie. It's more of a drama about twisted family dysfunction. It is really a slow movie and that is really my only real criticism but it's worth watching. If you really want to know what vampires would probably be like if they really existed...Try this one
absolutelysameed starting was very average just like in any slasher movie but suspense builds up gradually .At one stage when i came to know that the family kills people in their cellar,i thought that these are just mentally retarded psychopaths just like in every slasher movie but i was amazed to know that they are vampires. The murder of kitty was also very exciting and terrorizing, overall the movie seemed to be really nice especially in the second half but in the end when they revealed Lenny i was expecting him to be some scary creature and i was so looking forward to it,got really excited about it but was disappointed and also relieved to see he looked like an ordinary kid.And they way it ended when David introduces his family and himself to their new neighbours it really left me wondering what will happen next seems to very full of suspense.
