Zlatica One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

dugatron This movie is an embarrassment to Australia and all of its occupants. I kept watching hoping for something to improve, but was relieved to see the end. We have the capability to produce good quality films, unfortunately the bbq is one that lowers our overall score. I would be embarrassed to sit in the same room as any foreigner whilst watching this.

adonis98-743-186503 Dazza has a passion for barbequing. He accidentally gives his neighbours food poisoning. To make amends he seeks tutelage from the tyrannical Scottish chef and together they enter an international barbecue competition. If you want to waste 1hr and 27mins of your life alongside alot of advertising and food after food and some pretty bland protagonists that you somehow have to cheer for 'The BBQ' is the film for you but if not? Don't waste your time and just go and see something else anything really that is actually funny and not cheesy. (0/10)

authorimogentaylor The BBQ offers a great laugh and escape into a nice little story. It was nice to take my nephew to a film that didn't involve sex violence or swearing. Unlike a couple of narcissistic egotistical moronic critics who obviously missed the point - this film does not take its self seriously it provides a great 90 minutes of fun and escapism.

aussienick21 The BBQIs this a good movie? Not a chance. Did I enjoy this movie? Bloody Oath I did. It's a redemption story. Daz who poisons the neighbourhood has to redeem himself and win his family back along the way. Full of puns, corny jokes and bad accents. 6.5/10 #NicksMiniReview
