Reviews

GamerTab That was an excellent one.
Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.
Kaelan Mccaffrey Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Gordon-11 This film tells the story of three American soldiers who stopped a massacre on a train to Paris.I have always loved Eastwood's films because they almost always drive me to tears. This time, I am hugely disappointed by this film because the soldiers don't even board the train until 68 minutes into the film. There is simply not enough story from the train to fool 90 minutes to screen time, so the film spends an hour telling how the three soldiers grew up. The back story isn't really relevant or interesting unfortunately. Their heroic act is better made into a short film, instead of a full length feature. This film is unfortunately very weak for an Eastwood film.
plet-54046 While it was nice of Eastwood to include the actual guys who took down the terrorist he should not of used them as actors. It caused the dialogue to be stale. The writing and acting was like a bad high school play. I applaud them for being brave but don't try and act.
ereaven Did Clint Eastwood have a stroke or something when he made this? I never appreciated bad actors until I saw the three "heroes" attempting to play themselves. It probably would have been better if he just signed up a few You Tubers instead. And some of the "pros" cast: Urkel? The guy who played Felix Unger on The New Odd Couple? Even the moms of two of the kids -- Jenna Fischer from "The Office" and Judy Greer from "Two & a Half Men" -- are beyond terrible. It's as if the terribleness rubbed off on them. And another thing - when the three "heroes" are 12-year old kids in elementary school, it says it's taking place in 2005. Cut to when they've enlisted, presumably in 2014 or 2015, they've obviously grown and aged considerably, and a scene shows them watching a Cal college football game. One guy screams "come on Marshawn!" Pssst, hey Clint: Marshawn Lynch played his last college game for Cal in 2006- so these guys became adults in a year? What an amateurish mistake.Overall the majority of the movie is just about these dudes travelling around in Europe taking selfies, which has nothing at all to do with the main plot, which lasts all of about 2 minutes. Unwatchable dreck from a Hollywood legend. Quite hard to believe.
jacob-olinger-89109 Clint Eastwood makes amazing movies period! I was excited about this one. And though this movie recounts a true event and highlights the bravery of those men, it's does not fulfill the standard that Eastwood has set with his films. I was disappointed in the movie as a whole. If I had gone into this movie without Eastwood's name attached to this film I might not have been as dissapointed. But this film is packed full of a lot of things that simply just don't need to be in the film to tell this certain story. I can say that after watching over 2,100 movies and shows. So there you go.
