Carycomic Let's see if the Sealers of Approval will let me be briefer than usual. This is a family-friendly flick if you have children under the age of, say, thirteen. Otherwise, it's only mildly amusing, at best. And, even then, only because of Stan Lee's cameo appearances and special guest voice-overs!**Although, I have to be honest, I initially thought I was looking at an homage to Alan "Alfred '66" Napier. The animated caricature of Stan was that bad!
MajesticMajesty Lots of great stuff in this movie. The final line. The lion king sequence. The time travel sequence. Quite a fun time. Hell, even the poop jokes made me chuckle. I would say the fight scenes were pretty good, but the highlight of this movie is the humor. Will Arnett does a good job portraying Slade, and the rest of the cast is great. The visuals were wonderful, even if you're not a fan of the "Go!" artsyle. The somewhat unoriginal artsyle is mixed with movie-budget art direction that keeps the eyes moist throughout. Not all of the jokes stick, but the ones that do really stick. Most of the jokes referencing Marvel were cringe inducing. Although, I enjoyed the Stan Lee cameo. The jabs at the DCEU were great. One especially that sticks out is a poster that said "Batman v. Superman: YAWN of Justice." Haha! This self-aware humor is reminiscent of Deadpool but in a much more family-friendly fashion. I definitely recommend this movie. If you're a fan of the show, you'll for sure like it. If you're not a fan of the show, like me, give it a chance and you might be suprised.
wigg123-54-165754 Silliest movie ever... if you're fans of Teen Titans GO! Took my kids because they're big fans. Although I know nothing of this particular version of the Teen Titans, I mildly enjoyed it. It has a catchy soundtrack and some of the voice actors that play the actual characters on TV. My favorite line in the movie is when Cyborg says referring to Superman played by Nick Cage, "Superman? He's our National Treasure". But the best scene in the movie is the ending.
