Furthermore, I wanted to see what Katagi had to offer after her fabulous debut!Aamir is good, as alwaysI wish there was more of Rani Mukherjee in the film, she was her character, but wish there was more of her. Rajkumar seems like the next big thing; he's calm and silent.. kinda coolHowever, it is Kareena Kapoor who steals the show with her cheesy lines, mischievous eyes and subtle look.. A good film after her incredibly touching and funny Honeymoon Travels! glad i saw it..

Sandeep Gupta I knew the suspense already but it did not spoil the fun for me. It is perfect execution with no non-sense and no unwanted scenes. All three leads Aamir Khan as sincere cop, Kareena Kapoor as call girl and Rani Mukerjee as hurt wife give their hundred percent and amaze you with their charisma and talent. Special mention for Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays a key role and tops all performances. He is the one actor in the range of Om Puri and Nseeruddin Shah. Great music and back-ground score. It's Reema Kagti's second movie but she executes the subject with utmost sincerity, utter conviction and full control. Yes, I also did not buy the surprise like many others but apart from the climax everything seems so just perfect.

vpspriyanath i saw the movie yesterday. until then i thought that this will be a amir khan's master pies like 3 idiots or tharee zameen per. but after watching this.. i was disappointed. script - The beginning is promising.But in the middle of the film, it feels like that writers wanted to keep the length of the film & wrote some useless scenes & dialog.i was so bored in the middle. conversation between kareena & amir was some times too long and boring. also i think that they've tried to complex the beginning & messed it. But depression & the loneliness of Amir khans was perfectly Written. no doubt about that.Acting - amir and rani was.... well... good. but not quiet Great.it's a role of typical police officer and even a normal actor can do it. but the loneliness and depressing part of Amir was well acted. kareena.. as always ( I believe) over acting.camera & edit - only thing in this movie i appreciate the most is camera and editing. it is very fascinating & shot composition is quiet Great. music support was medium. But this movie is not for Amhir. i expect more mature scripts from Ferhan Akthar like Dil chahatha hei. Anurag kaushep (Additional dialog) why did you sign up for this....?????

unnikrishnan pm I am not a fan of Aamir khan. But, I like him. It was almost 3 years since his last film '3 idiots' released and people were eagerly waiting for this one. I was also interested in seeing this film. But, this film was a big letdown.The first half was OK. It started off very well. But, Shekhawat's family problems were making the film get dragged on. At times, the film completely focuses on his personal life and forgets to shed light on his case. With the onset of the second half, the film really loses its charm. Unwanted subplots and too many characters ruin the movie. But, all this while, I had the notion that there would be a good climax for the movie which would compensate for all the flaws. But, the climax turned out to be the biggest letdown. It just degraded the whole movie. I think that the writers really lost their imagination towards the end.The good part about the movie is its songs and cinematography. Songs are great. The film has beautifully captured the essence of Mumbai.On the whole, Talaash is a very bad thriller. The people who praise it are surely the ones who think that Aamir is always right. I believe that having a big star and no masala ingredients will not make it a great movie. The film need to have a good story. Here the execution went OK, but the story was flimsy.If you want to see a good thriller, watch 'Kahaani' or 'Don' again. If you want to bang your head at the end of a movie, watch 'Talaash'.
