Steineded How sad is this?
Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
pbmorgan2002 I saw this movie during it's first theatriacal release in 1987. I must admit, my main purpose for going was to see Exene Cervenka act in a film, as I had only previously know her as the lead singer from the alternative-punk rock band "X". This movie is simply fantastic. It holds no punches when it comes to busting open the facade of hate disguised as love, exposing the backstabbing bigotry so often found hiding behind the snow white veil of Christianity. Personally, I found it's message to be profoundly funny, yet sadly truthful at the same time. A very unique work, indeed. I highly recommend this film to any and all people who are not afraid to open their minds in order to take a look at the side of Christianity no one wants to acknowledge or talk about. I believe you'll find it very rewarding. The movie, written by Beth B. and Tom Robinson and also directed by Beth B. herself, is a true work of art. I look forward to the day this film is made available on DVD for the world to see. The material focused on is medicine the United States could definitely use RIGHT NOW!"Bless the Baby Jesus!"PB Morgan Dallas, TX
CucFan Crappy movie, yeah, but if you're a Viggo fan wondering if you should give this one a try, it's a definite yes. Plenty of attitude, weirdness and sexiness, and his motorcycle riding is pure sex on wheels. Curious about Exene? She plays the wife here. Beware - this character is a bit rednecky & mouthy, uses the f-word (and I'm not talking about the four letter one). Very strange to see him yelling, too.
iguanadeoro Beth B sure knows how to put together a soundtrack.Funny movie, but it's not for most people.
emm We've just gone through the Bakker family scandal, so hey, why not make a tasteless vulgar comedy out of squeaky clean religion? This is the most lurid use of satire I've ever witnessed out of SALVATION! After 80 sinful minutes, it's time I've gone into the shower and wash away the evil-spirited entertainment stuck in my soul! The movie isn't even worth laughing about, not just in satirizing the Bible, but in bland, senseless, flatulent humor. Rent this one and see what I mean. In the end, nothing can save anybody from surviving this Armageddon of dirty laundry!
