Smartorhypo Highly Overrated But Still Good
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Lidia Draper Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.
Dana An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

Based on the Comedy Central series. Reno 911!: Miami has alot of dumb jokes, terrible acting and characters that are boring plus terrible cameos from great actors like The Rock who appears for 3 minutes and gets blown up for a stupid reason. This movie shouldn't even been made in the first place. (0/10)
willcundallreview Reno 911!:Miami is a comedy that although never really becomes OK, it still has a few jokes to let it get along without destroying itself. It's maybe not the best TV to movie transition ever made but it still isn't the worst, It's kind the kind of comedy that may annoy but it can really make you laugh sometimes(well, in many patches). Overall I felt the film was strongly an average film, and here is why I felt so.The story is fairly dumb, of course we see it in so many other comedies and they work, but this doesn't so much, too short and not enough material to use as well. I don't mean to criticise the show and it's plots for the TV series, but the film just doesn't cut it really, The one thing that damages it is the uneven and loose structure with no atmosphere and of course the jokes which miss the mark, but, as I say, it is not a Bad movie. The acting is fairly average as well and again, not to criticise the TV show but they just don't work on the big screen and should stay back where they are popular on the TV screen. I did enjoy some of the characters though, Lieutenant Jim Dangle is funny in bits, could have been made much funnier though and I think we saw this movies potential. One other was Paul Rudd as a drug lord, he is funny in this one and really takes the Mick out of any film ever to do with the Miami crime world. It isn't written very well I will say, I said before the film is loose and uneven and it basically comes down to two things, the script and the cinematography, the documentary style cameras just don't do this film any good and there are times where you completely forget they are being followed. The script though is worse, there doesn't even seem to be enough dialogues given and it lacks one liner jokes and therefore relying to heavily on practical stunts as the funny times.I'm split on whether to give it some more positives or criticisms seeing as it is not good but not bad, but I will give it some positives. It has the jokes, it really does and I can't imagine many(unless your some tight faced critic), not at least smiling at this film, although doesn't give it an excuse to be good. I enjoyed the stunts sometimes and I have to admit it is funny when the stunts do come in, they are not an excuse though for the movie to be OK.Of course I would say fans of the TV show should see this, you may be disappointed by it but who knows, you may enjoy the style of the film. If you like those kind of silly comedies that can make you laugh but you may feel "why am I laughing at this" then this is for you, but hey don't expect it to be not good and you may just enjoy this very much.Overall it is Strongly an Average film and therefore I think it escapes being Poor but only by a little bit. Just try to enjoy the film and certain people will like it, but if you watch it with others then I guarantee it will split opinion, you just have to like this type of comedy and I know not everyone does. Look out for some of the more shocking jokes and they can be gems at times, just look out for Dwayne Johnson.
carnage_gfx This Movie is most Stupid Movie ever. There is no Story, no proper acting, and a load of unnecessary overacting comedy. I didn't forgotten this movie to this date because this was most disgusting movie ever i watched.I don't understand what were Makers of this movie thinking when they decided to make this horrible movie. There is nothing which can be appreciated in this movie. Neither Star cast nor Screenplay. Everything was just can be described in one word,INSANE.The most nerve racking so called comedy will simply make you feel like leaving the theater and search for cold water. There is no sense of understanding between director and actors. I suggest you all, see Tiny Toons at home instead watching this movie.
Mattias Petersson I saw this movie along with a friend who has weird fascination with the "Reno 911" TV-series. I've watched the series a couple of times and it has a few moments where it's pretty funny, but in general i'm not a fan. This movie however focuses on the parts of the series that doesn't work and makes it an hour and a half long...First of all i can say that i have no problems with silly comedy, in fact some of my favorite comedies are downright silly. So i'm not the kind of person who demands a high level of intellectualism to the jokes. But still there has to be a limit. Mostly though, Reno 911 just isn't funny. They try all kinds of classic jokes. Everything from sex to crashing cars to being foul-mouthed. And i rarely laughed. There are a few decent moments, like the short but sweet cameo by The Rock as a tough but clumsy SWAT-cop.Mostly though this movie has the same kind of random comedy that the TV-series does. It's like the script-writers have no idea what's going to be funny. They just slam a bunch of scenes together and a few turn out funny, most of them don't. Part of the problem of course is the rather lousy acting from most people involved. The pace is very slow at times and the actors lack the right timing to be funny. No, this just isn't good enough. Far from it.I rate it 2/10.
