The boredom of small town life is eating Bill Williamson alive. Feeling constrained and claustrophobic in the meaningless drudgery of everyday life and helpless against overwhelming global dissolution, Bill begins a descent into madness. His shockingly violent plan will shake the very foundations of society by painting the streets red with blood.

BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Konterr Brilliant and touching
Nayan Gough A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Kirandeep Yoder The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.
Ersbel Oraph Everything goes as smooth as the script wanted to. In the last decades the press has shown many cases, yet the planning and execution suffered. Here is where the production team intervenes. The guy is good at it. His plan works like whole teams can't produce. To make things worse, the camera and the flashes are annoying and seem to be there only to serve one clear purpose: as smoke and mirrors to compensate for a badly drawn character, because the character isn't the subject, the subject is what might happen if state control is anything below total.
ltwood-06334 The movie and the series may not have had a huge budget, advertising campaign, or may have been a cinematic masterpieces, but they were what they were meant to be. The movie took ideas that many would consider profound and scary and brought them together in a very real feeling manner. Many probably don't understand the purpose behind the series, which (at least in my opinion) was to make people think about our societies problems and to inspire them to try and find solutions to them by showing them one man's solution; Eliminate those who are responsible for the problems or responsible for the problems not getting solved. They showed us that change doesn't have to come from our government, our military, or even foreign powers. instead they showed us how one man at the bottom of the totem pole with a willingness to do what ever it takes for his beliefs or idea can make an impact felt across a nation. I believe they did splendidly in how they portrayed their story as well. They didn't bring in some A list macho actor. They got an actor that most people have never heard of, someone who looks like and can portray the everyday citizen. I believe that this is a movie series almost everyone should see.
Jerghal So a guy goes on a rampage and shoots everyone in sight. That part was kinda fun. But why did he do it? The first 20 minutes should give you an insight into the psyche of this maniac...oh, wait it's an Uwe Boll film, so the first 20 minutes the guy goes to fast food restaurants and nags about the cream on his café laté in the local coffee bar and does nothing else of interest. The camera work consists of the most shaky/wobbly hand-held shots I've seen since the Blair Witch project (that was actually a lot better). The camera operator must have come drunk to work each day is my guess. If there was music I did not notice or remember it. The acting is not good. The was actually no script but just a 10 page outline and the rest was improvised on set. And you can tell, coz the actors are blabbering over each others lines which Uwe must have thought made it more natural but it just becomes chaotic and irritating. The lead actor is a (small) dork who has a very stupid looking face (it's true, not kidding). The editing is not great (it uses lots of jump cuts but that's good, it keeps the film short) but the movie is fairly linear so it's hard to mess that up right. All in all not a terrible movie but it could have been much better with a capable director, decent actors and a well fleshed out script. Better next time Uwe!
bowmanblue Why do people climb mountains? The answer: because they're there. And that seems to sum up my feelings towards Uwe Boll's 'Rampage.' Glossing over the fact that Uwe Boll (often regarded as being the worst director ever) has made a half-watchable, well-acted film, I was left wondering why I watched this film in the first place and, why I sat through it until the end. And, now it's over, I sort of wonder what the point of it was.The only conclusion I can draw is that it doesn't have a point. The movie simply exists. It is what it is and you just have to take it as such. It's about a man who goes on killing spree with a machine gun (hardly a light-hearted topic). It's actually pretty hard-hitting. It's not often you see innocent shoppers simply gunned down in the middle of the street by the central character (I certainly wouldn't refer to him as 'hero').It's certainly not a family movie. I don't know who its target audience is. Just because I've watched it, doesn't mean I'd sit through it again. But, at the same time, despite its distasteful subject matter, the acting was good, the direction competent and the film different enough for me to sit through it again. Which leads me back to my opening question of why I watched it in the first place? I guess because it was there.
