Mathilde the Guild Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
Michael Ledo Our protagonists are thieves. The story centers on Jack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) a clever thief who comes up with odd schemes. He is aided by sharp shooter Logan (Jenna B. Kelly) who has a dry wit about her. Jack dates a vet (Lydia Hull) as his ex-girlfriend Karen (Claire Forlani) shows up 6 months pregnant claiming Jack is the father. She is in trouble and interests Jack in a heist which crosses Eddie (Bruce Willis). The film includes explosions, car chases, boat chases, and a lot of plot we don't see. In fact the plot was the weak aspect of the film. What was good was the over-the-top characters: a driver who is so drunk he doesn't know where he is in and a shooter who wishes he was dead to get away from his wife.Mark-Paul Gosselaar looks like a leading man. Daniel Bernhardt was Claude Van Damme light. I liked the dialogue and characters more than the plot.Guide: F-word, sex. No nudity. Torrie Wilson in a bikini.
jim_gun because of the low rating, then i watched this movie with low expectation.. And i was surprised with the low rating because i think this movie is not bad and full of action from the beginning until the end.. it's not as great as "Die Hard", but worth to see... Just dun expect too high and you will enjoy this movie..
tomkusmierz OK, bad mouthing aside: 1. this move has such a forced plot not only you can predict it it just makes you cringe 2. cliché after cliché ... 3. give people blank munition rather than putting CG on their guns :/ 4. plot is hard to follow because you simply stop giving a f**k 5. characters are cardboard cut outs of stereotypes ... no play what so ever 6 ....... the biggest problem - why Bruce Willis ???? I don't mind him as a bad guy, he is simply a bad arse personality ... no matter whenever bad or good ... BUT for good movie he has to be matched by moderately good protagonist ... and here good guy is just a poor actor with C movie script and punch lines and overall worst part of the movie ... In terms of Bruce Willis being old: in RED he did fantastic because he had good company of perfect actors that were as old as him and there was a perfect balance, bad guy was crap (sorry to pretty boy card board cutout) but overall if there is no balance might as well make it a good comedy without forced one liners ...
kosmasp Just thinking about Bruce being in this and why he'd do something like that, might make some feel dizzy. Or annoyed, and not in a good sense. Then you also get a very bland main character and a female lead (femme fatale), who you kind of thought you'd like, but then it turns out she just annoys the hell out of you.So stay away from this as some have stated, has more than one meaning in this. But if you can't: there have been worse movies out there and you still get some sort of tension and excitement out of it. Nothing an episode of Burn Notice wouldn't pack in tighter form and more coherent (didn't think I'd ever write that) ... but maybe you find something that is entertaining in this ...
