Strong and Moving!

Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

Cast is excellent as is the way it was shot. Very well put together for the first half then it just for lack of a better word loops. There's no progress to make up what should be the second half of the movie and maybe that's its attempt at karmic balance. If anything in the storyline had actually evolved from the earlier repetitions we'd have ourselves a whole movie and a very good one. As it is the enthusiastic beginning just barely escapes being canceled out by the artsy fartsy ending. This film is worth watching if only because there's a terrific half done film which was better executed than a lot actually possessing an ending. Worth a look if you are a film junkie like myself but dabblers will be holding this one against you so make sure their viewing was voluntary.

The slow pace and repetition of scenes is obnoxious and just when you start to get sucked in because you think that one unifying element will be revealed to tie the whole movie together, you get squat. The film probably took all of three days to film since most of the work was done in the editing room. You spend most of the film watching the same scenes over and over again with some slight variation in perspective. Barely one and a half hours long, it felt like a 3 hour torture chamber. The acting, dialog and the look of the film were all impressive, the screenplay simply fell short. The film tries really hard to say something in a cryptic, pretentious format, but lacks any actual discernible point. Nobody should see this film.

I was first struck by the artistry of "NOBODY", at the Action on Film Festival in Long Beach, CA, earlier this year. I attended this festival because I am a student of the martial arts, and because another friend/filmmaker was screening at the same festival.I was absolutely blown out and held intrigued, till the end, by this film!! I rarely am captivated like this, and invite you fans of the thriller genre to check out this work of art. kudos to the cast for your work as Borg :) I can't say enough about how much this film impressed me.Paula

We recently screened it at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival in Portland Oregon and I must say that I loved this film. This is a thinking man's movie done in period with an excellent cast. I can't really go into depth about the film with out revealing the cause and effect mechanism. It reminds me a little of Memento since it is non-linear and does not have traditional time line. If you love weird tales, film noir, and time paradoxes, then run don't walk to your nearest film festival.I am not sure were the market is for this one but I hope it fines a home. It is what Indy films are all about.
