Matho The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
steffycyril I have seen the film 2 times.I also like Emraan Hashmi and Mohit Suri. The story is quite creepy. The scenes make u feel like it is about love but is a mystery. The background and locations are stunning. There is a factor of theirs style even if i haven't seen their earlier outings. This is the natural character of Jaqueline. She shines as a model and a lover. The villain is superb. The songs are evergreen as in Hashmi's movies. All the plot get thickens and in the middle it gets more curious. The climax is surprising when she forgives him for all his wrong decisions. It is a must watch movies because of the way it inspires by statements. It is wonderful when a man who plays bad ones is in pursuit of good things. A must watch film without much tensions or twists.....
ranamajid007 I have watched it today 29,April 2012.That was really superb n awesome movie. I couldn't even leave it for a second... Full of entertainment, mystery and spicy movie. All the songs very beautifully sung and the lyrics very also very good. Specially the last song "Ae-Khuda". Today i have become fan of "Mohit Suri" and i hope more good movies to be released n directed by him.. Emran Hasmi did very superb acting, Priya was looking too hot through out the movie... although she was there for very short scenes.... Oh yeah. The villain......... hahaha.... He was really very freaking creature...... moreover acting was very good by him too. If its still on cinemas..... go and watch it.Rather buy two tickets. One for yourself n one for me because i m planning to watch it again... ;) 10/10
Murli The first Murder was a run of the mill storyline. True, it was a remake but it didn't rise above the original nor did it stand out in any way as a bollywood movie. So pretty forgettable on all counts. The second movie, though, seemed to be different. Much darker in nature and scope it looked promising. Again, it's a remake of an original movie, which by now anyone with half a brain knows that anything connected with the Bhatt camp is never original. But I hoped that it would be the kind of Bollywood movie that's standing apart from the regular family entwining tear inducing rubbish of yesteryear.I was a little bit surprised and pleased with the product but mostly disappointed. The ruthlessness of the killer was portrayed well and was highly different to usual bollywood villains but the rest was pure bollywood masala. There were so many plot holes that it was impossible not to drive into one in ever scene. How is it is that the cops knew where to go at the end when they were never called nor did they follow anyone? Why doesn't EH's character drive by the nearby homes once he catches the killer very early on in the movie? Instead he meanders all over the place trying to find clues that make absolutely no sense and it's by fluke that he finds the location.I normally don't watch the songs but as I'd heard them before watching the movie I quite liked the tunes and was looking forward to seeing them but it was all done horribly wrong, which spoilt it for me.Acting wise, EH was semi decent. He tried to come off as a renegade cop with a supposed soft heart but he just looked like a big pansy with cool hair. Jacqueline Fernandes's voice was dubbed over so it was hard to really judge her acting but she tended to wear a lot of short clothes and look pretty. Her character was meant to be a tough girl but it got lost in translation. Prashant Narayanan was very good- nailed the creepy part spot on.It's a shame that the movie itself was not spot on. Direction was poor and the movie seemed to move all over the place- there was nothing coherent in the flow. EH's character was equally confusing- he wasn't a cop any longer but somehow kept acting like he was still in the force. Bozo the clown has better instincts and investigative methods.I was watching an interview with Mahesh Bhatt, who with a big grin and an arm around Jacqueline Fernandes's neck, announced that Murder 3 would be launched. What he failed to mention was that it would be launched after the Koreans, or the Americans, or whoever, made it first, giving the Bhatts enough time to study the scenes, copy it and shamelessly pass it off as an original idea.Is it worth a watch... I suppose so. You could do a lot worse...like watching an abhishek bhachan movie...
creedreaper Well where to begin, yes the concept is taken from a crappy made Korean movie The Chaser, but the storyline of Murder 2 is much different and aspect and feel of the movie is completely opposite from the chaser. It's dark, gloomy, scary, thrilling, and bone-chilling horror movie. It's been a looong time since I've seen a bollywood movie which kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Now to give u the sense of what I'm saying, if you have seen the movie SANGHARSH starring Akshay Kummar, Priety Zinta, and Ashutosh Rana, then you can expect something very similar in this movie. Murder 2 had the same feeling of Sangharsh but it's alooot more twisted and scary. My suggestion is to watch this movie alone at night with darkness. Now comparing this to the First Murder: First off THANK GOD this was not a sequel from the first movie, because that storyline was ridiculous and stupid. This part was totally different. You can easily see how far of a better actor Emraan Hashmi has become from his younger days. He did an excellent job playing his role, never once he disappointed. Now onto Jacqueline Fernandez - Holy Smokes I had no idea she was this hot, I mean I've seen her in other small roles and item songs, but I was blowned away to see her amazing acting skills. Now onto Prashant Narayanan - I saw this guy first in the movie Yeh Saali Zindagi. I really don't know who discovered him, but THANK YOU for giving him a break in movies. He's just a natural, his voice, his eyes, his personality is perfect for these kinds of roles. If you watch him in his recent movie Bhendi Baazar you'll see that he was born to do roles like this. I'm astonished to see how polished of an actor he is. Bollywood is lacking villains lately but looks like they have found the perfect one. I really really want to see him more in movies. WOW!!!Overall: Compare to the trash bollywood movies that have been coming out lately, Thank God for this movie to arrive at the right time. I was not expecting much but it totally blew my socks away.Well Done Bhatt Camp, Mohit Suri did yet another fantastic job on directing this movie. He has a really unique gloomy vision which really catches your attention.
