Dead bodies are piling up, and the leads the two LA homicide cops have point to Barbara, business manager for a successful architectural firm she runs with her husband Lance. The dead men were interns at the firm, and each of them was Barbara's lover (kept in a classy flat she owns and observed via closed-circuit TV by the applauding Lance). Kyle is Barbara's latest intern and lover, and he may be in danger. He also starts to fall in love with Barbara, and the feeling may be mutual. In the background are Erin, Lance and Barbara's myopic administrative assistant, and Tony, Kyle's one-time roommate who also knows Barbara. Can the cops solve this before too many more die?

Reviews

Ariella Broughton It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
Rosie Searle It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Bumpy Chip It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
Bob This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
Dennis K This film combines a decent plot with a great performance from the enticing Michelle Von Flotow. She plays the seductive Barbara and together with her husband runs an architecture firm. There's just something about the way Barbara smokes a cigarette and orders a man on his knees. Ice-T also appears as his usual self. So if you're looking for an erotic thriller/mystery to help you sit back and relax this does the job. Although it didn't win any awards this movie is much better than some others of it's kind that are out there because of it's interesting story. The DVD also includes a nice array of special features just in case you have some more time to kill.
TheVid Just another in the cycle of low-cost, late-night cable thrillers designed to titillate suburban subscribers with heavy breathing and soap opera story lines. This one features some quirky add-on scenes featuring Ice-T as an investigating cop. The sexual activity is rather bland for this kind of thing, since there's not much variety in the sexual episodes and the male lead is rather fey. Not one of the better choices in this category.
Alan Deikman (Alan-40) About 3 parts softcore and 2 parts mystery-thriller. Make that one part; I figured out whodunit in the first ten minutes. You're not supposed to notice with all the nooky going on.One extra star because the "woman under suspicion" actually CALLS THE POLICE when she finds a dead body she knows she could be blamed for. They never (usually) do that in these kinds of movies -- they always try to cover it up and get in deeper because of it.Take a half star back because of the tiresome "cop partner banter" that we get too much of. Nobody talks like that.
