I am not normally into thrillers but this one grabbed my attention. Watching such a gifted and talented actress Natalie Dormer (Games of Thrones), who happens to have co written this, shows the weaknesses and strengths of the main character Sofia. There are so many twists and turns that when you think you know the ending, it doesn't quite turn out the way you think it does. Excellent thriller and one that I would happily watch time and time again. Well done to the writers.

Quality movie!! Natalie Dormer is absolutely amazing and the plot twists will draw you in even more than it already accomplishes. This film deserves better than what it receives.....I guess people are to "blind" to see the greatness it is. I almost didn't watch it based on some reviews. Some people lack depth and imagination and shouldn't be allowed to comment. Fortunately the movie was both! Def worth a watch.

First of all, this movie is kinda refreshing in the first 15-20 minutes, it even had potential to be a great move, but as soon as the out of the line history plots started it was lost. I imagined like 5 ways the begining could have went (main character falling in love with the person above, etc..) but you had to make a plot, based on history you have no knowlede of (obviously). You are BIASED as I guess you have NEVER even visited the countries you slander. I also assume there are no Bosnian or Serbian nationales on this movies crew. I would suggest you to read some historically accurate books(instead of romanticized and biased novels). You will never know how hard it is for Bosnian and Serbian people to see these mainstream movies portray lies and decepits, as you only have war-crime-villains-Serbs. You have zero knowledge about the situation then, and you have zero knowledge about it now. Its sad that people see a dissapointment like this and think they have all the knowlede needed. Sad and pathetic! Bad review for everybody who made this.

A blind musician hears a murder committed in the apartment upstairs from hers that sends her down a dark path into London's gritty criminal underworld. In Darkness has an interesting and good plot but the film suffers from a disappointing level of slow pacing that not even Dormer and Skrein can save. I was expecting more from a film like this but the most recent films with a similar plot of someone being blind weren't that good either and neither is 'In Darkness' that wasted of what could have been an amazing experience and a smart thriller that turns into a slow burn that takes alot of time to find it's steps and wastes a perfect and interesting cast of new and old actors.
