Evengyny Thanks for the memories!
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
AshUnow This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Zandra The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
LibertadBGreen ...from this movie is when Robert Townsend's character asks a man if his wife sumo wrestles on the weekend, and how much her Jenny Craig diet is costing him! This movie seems too didactic for me, but if you want to watch (or have your children watch) a movie with an anti-materialistic moral to the story, this should fit the bill! What I liked the most about this movie, besides the quote about the Jenny Craig eating, sumo wrestling wife, was seeing Morgan Fairchild in the role of Satan's girl friend, Babylonia! Pardon the cliché, but she's hotter than the hell her character came from in this movie! I just wish she would have shown more skin!
rukayat this was one of the funniest movie ever......if you have not see this movie, then you missing a lot. having the "renaissance man"Robert townsend is such a great thing and cowboy lady Mrs. fairchild too ain't bad neither. Josh zuckerman was the perfect fit for brendan willy"s role.this movie was grotesque. first i thought the movie was just going to be about a teenage boy who couldn't talk to girls or make friends like weird science.but the movie turn out to be "off the hook" instead. the director of the movie put a great effort to the film and also have the right people..actors and actresses... for the perfect role.................Robert townsend, Morgan fairchild, and Josh zuckerman are good actors.........way to go guys!!!!
MovieMilhouse21 there were several hilarious parts in the movie and all the acting was excellent for basically have lesser not-so-famous stars. it was the kind of movie you would watch but not really admit to watching it, but I would recomend it to just about anyone.
Jay Harris The legend of Faust & his selling of his soul to the Devil has been made many, many times into one film or another. This time it is High School students turn to make that dreaded pact. All the usual elements of the legend are present. This version is an out & out comedic one. Robert Townsend & Morgan Fairchild are the emissaries from hades. Josh Zuckerman is our Faust this time out, He is a very fine young actor & is very adept in comedy. The film is very silly in spots, but young Josh, makes it watchable. The production is of the TV variety & the acting by all is good.rating **1/2 67/100 points IMDB 6
