ghostman16 i bought hard cash yesterday for 2 quid in a car boot what a waste of money not just my money the money the producers wasted on this film. Christian slater plays Thomas Thaler a small time con who has just been paroled from prison.so as he makes it back home he is already planning a robbery at a betting place but when Thomas and his crew think they have succeeded with getting the money things take a turn for the worst the money is marked by the FBI now the FBI wants it back by any means.the reason why i rate this film so low is because it is so boring the DVD cover makes it look an explosive action film it certainly isn't. so if you go to a car boot or happen to see this in the shop don't buy it if you are expecting an action packed thrill ride. but buy it if you like crime capers or drama films to end the review hard cash was a total disappointment not the worst movie i've ever saw but certainly not the best 4 out of 10

udeaasykle To pretty known actors, Val Kilmer and Christian Slater. I thought, well this can go both ways. Well it went south and pretty fast. This movie sucks bigtime. What are these people thinking about making a movie like this. Do they actually hug eachother in the end and say. Wow guys, we have made an excellent movie. ??? The low point of the movie is of course all the driving scenes. It looks more real in Austin Powers and there the backgound is in black and white. And the way they manage to escape in the end, i didn't know whether to laugh or stick my eyes out with a rusty object. Nothing more to say i guess. This movie sucks but it doesn't suck enough to get a 1 so i will give it a 2.

acearms Try to mix comedy with gangsterism along with a bad cop plot and what do you get? A movie called HARD CASH. Two of my favorite actors, Kilmer and Slater caused me to watch this horrific excuse for a, I guess, suspenseful movie, or what ever it was suppose to be. The chase scenes I was able to fast forward; they were a waste of time. But there in is some of the comedy. And then the heists; well, some what believable with lots of planning. And the ending is some what contrived. For shame, for shame on both Kilmer and Slater. If you have a dull evening with nothing better to do, take a nap, or watch HARD CASH.

WildFrostMW18 HARD CASH!it was delightful and very entertaining! Christian slater plays a con who gets out of jail and needs some fast money! when his daughter is kidnapped he must do all kinds of stuff to get her back! this is a great movie and you should go see it! RENT IT TODAY
