Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Afouotos Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
InformationRap This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
Portia Hilton Blistering performances.
DukeOfMarshall The Asylum finally hit a home run.Well known for it's crimes against humanity in the field of cinematography, the Asylum has finally produced something worth watching and then watching again.Good acting and good story line paired with more than decent CG, and you've got a movie from the Asylum you'll actually admit to watching and liking. They've come a long way and I really hope to see more from the Asylum like this movie.
tliebe-1 Yes, the premise is derivative of the Kirk Douglas vehicle THE FINAL COUNTDOWN, but the multiracial cast is game, the story fairly suspenseful given the outcome is more-or-less preordained, and The Asylum's CGI work has progressed to the point where it doesn't interfere with your suspension of disbelief...much. My wife, niece and I watched it on Netflix the other night, and as soon as we saw "AN ASYLUM FILM" we figured we'd be switching it off in ten minutes in disgust - so the fact we not only watched the entire movie through, but were entertained by the experience, is quite a recommendation! Special props go to Faran Tahir's Captain Strong, an airline pilot so cool-headed under pressure Sully Sullenberger would be green with envy; and Aqueela Zoll's Tough Young Flight Attendant Cameron, who is just who you want serving you coffee when your plane time-travels to a slightly-changed for excitement WWII air battle! But everybody in the cast pitches in to sell the story, which is a pleasant surprise - like when Charles Band's people crank out an above-average bit of Direct-to-Video dreck like ZONE TROOPERS.
Eric Chan Everyone forgot the poor lady who dropped out from the plane's hole. The captain act like everyone was safe after landing? How come this possible. If the German hasme262 and such other changes is real, 'A' radar cannot overwhelm those negative factor and lead it to the right history. They can never even copy the design of the radar as shown in the movie because it contain computer chips and IC controls thats no way 40s can reproduce.Europe in this movie is too too small, drop something from the sky above Europe and some people you never meet before, who should be at somewhere near France, can pack it up within a minute, how come this possible?
annmon-63155 It's up there as being one of the top ten of the worst films we have ever seen. It's that appalling it's comical. The whole film is just set on the plane which wasn't obvious when reading the initial synopsis of the plot. We howled with laughter at the appalling acting; don't miss the German soldier being shot and his great death scene it's hilarious. Also the grinning, smiling and back patting of everyone at the end. This is despite the fact that 2 passengers had just been tragically sucked out of the plane. Waah and the captain's final slow motion saunter in slow motion to music as he leaves the plane at he end had us creased up :)Avoid it at all costs. Just get drunk instead ;)
