The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Quiet Muffin
This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

Elizabeth Blue is a well-done movie on mental illness. I have enjoyed the movie from the first minute. The acting is pretty good and the story is intriguing in the way it develops as an everyday life story, filled with many of the issues that mentally ill patients unfortunately have. It shows the challenges, the struggles, the pains. The ending is a punch in the stomach. It leaves you with a strong bitter taste in your mouth. It might be the right feeling to have because mental illness is bad, it's mean and it's immensely difficult. But the ending also has a sort of Sixth Sense feeling and it suddenly transforms a nicely done movie, very delicate, to a movie that seems to be more interested in shocking you with an unexpected ending. In any case, I recommend watching the movie.
