Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
steve6866 DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE!! Bad acting, atrocious CGI, devoid of any suspense. By the first half you want everyone to get eaten and praise the sharks for ending it so quickly. Save yourself the money.. watch the first one again. The Sharks werent even in the movie... much! I could go on... but its pointless ... read opening sentence and run away !!
itsbobr Billionaire and scientist Carl Durant (Michael Beach) trains Bull Sharks to be more intelligent and this is to keep ahead of AI with the intention that the serum he feeds to the sharks will be used for humans to avoid machines taking over in the future. He fancies himself as a Visionary. He also takes the serum himself. He hires Misty Calhoun (Danielle Savre) to help him understand the Bull Shark's behavior. She tells him that Bella his prize Bull Shark is pregnant. Oh, oh!So you thought JAWS was scary? Well this one has its moments, too. And with CGI now in the mix, the sharks really look very real and menacing. Of course, you just know things will go wrong and there will be a shark frenzy and who will survive? Here's the kicker: As the scientists talk and argue among themselves we see an eye in the window listening to everything being said. Who is that eye? Bella, of course. She is becoming or actually is now more intelligent and doesn't like what she sees and hears. Hmmmm.............Things go south when gas cans topple into the waters and here we go.............. And Bella bangs into the structure and produces a herd of baby Bull Sharks and no one is safe now as the structure begins to collapse everywhere, and the in-fighting among all breaks out and we almost morph into a horror story. Almost, but not quite, but there are moments. (You keep saying that)The acting all around is good and the suspense and tensions are also good. Most of these actors are relatively unknown and we are not sure who will survive, but we know Misty will....... also because she is the one showing the most cleavage. The photography and editing are also very good. Now the big question: Will there be sequels? Probably because humans need to be smarter than the machines everyone thinks will take us over. And, yes, because Shark stories are in, don't you know? (7/10)Violence: Yes. Sex: No. Nudity: No. Humor: Not really. Language: Yes, some not much. Rating: B
lopez-17398 First you don't know the fricking purpose of this movie. Actors are decently good but however they had the worst plot I have ever seen. It wasn't even a sequel it was a remake of Deep Blue Sea 1 (which is a amazing movie). All scenes were predictable not one scene shocked me at all. THERE WAS A SHARK LOOKING THROUGH A WINDOW...... U N R E A L I S T I C. Yes the nerd did live but he got his shoe taken..... R E A L L Y........ DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON THIS IRRELEVANCY...... WATCH DEEP BLUE SEA 1 50x's
jackstupidjack Has Renny Harlin upset someone at WB so much they feel the need to totally destroy any legacy from his excellent original film Deep Blue Sea by serving up this nonsense as a sequel? There were any number of sequels WB could have put money into and produced a film as good as the original. They didn't, they made this pile of dung instead. 'I help people see that sharks are not monsters but you sharks ARE monsters'' screams the utterly cliched, unbelievable 'heroine' who is a 'shark expert' and that is one of the high points of her contribution to the plot. The dialogue is ridiculous and hackneyed, the acting straight off the casting couch. Frankly this dross makes The Asylum/Syfy shark films look like Spielberg. The makers and all involved should be ashamed of themselves. The supposedly (and totally predictable) scene where a bloke who sees his newly wed wife killed is laughable in the fact that it looks more like she's farting in the water than a shark is attacking her (really!!!). Dreadful. Thank the Lord it didn't cost me a penny to endure this turd of a film.
