Lovesusti The Worst Film Ever
Intcatinfo A Masterpiece!
Baseshment I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
ppjmilsom Great animated sci-fi horror movie! Non stop action, gripping storyline and great characters. Definitely one for the hardcore horror movie fans. Gore galore, but done stylishly! Very exciting from start to finish, you even see the ending at the very start of the movie pulp fiction style! But it is the journey and not the outcome which makes this movie so entertaining. The animation is not resident evil next gen cgi stuff, but the grittiness definitely fits the macabre feel of this movie and does not take away from the overall quality.I feel the action scenes are done very well, and the creepiness of the artifact and its unknown power underlying every scene adds great suspense! I think the movie is like a cross between event horizon, eve online and left for dead! I have not played the game but am certainly not disappointed to have seen the movie first. In fact after watching the movie I expect that playing the characters through the storyline in a game would be great! So finally a big 9 for Downfall, especially as there are too many manga enthusiasts judging this book by its cover, I think it deserves better. Don't take my word for it, watch this and find out for yourself!
Neil Welch I'm not a game player so I'm looking at this simply as a movie. It's very violent. There is some bad language but it seems pointless to complain about this given the level of violence. It's very derivative, seemingly cobbled together out of elements from other movies and games. There are no surprises. The characters exist only to be slaughtered in tried and trusted "last man standing" fashion. Given that you know this from the outset, there is little suspense here.I suppose, if you are aware of its limitations from the outset, there's nothing too much wrong with it. But there's nothing particularly wonderful about it either.
ffrreeaakk Movie shows how it all began and how Ishimura became what it is in a Dead Space game. I played game first and didn't know about existence of this movie. It was great feeling to see the real story and last hours of Ishimura's crew actions. Monsters, sounds, suits, Marker and story... it's amazing how everything seems so similar and coherent with game. Many people don't rate it good... that's because they saw only one half of this plot.I really recommend to see this one after you played. Because it's better to unfold the story while playing than just watch it. Also because the last scene of movie becomes the first in the game.
argonium This anime was far more entertaining than I'd expected, a pleasant surprise. The animation has a Nickelodeon quality about it and that's the only resemblance to anything nick has ever produced. It's liberal with deep space (surprise!,) aliens, blood, bullets, horror and... bashing... and hacking... and CG, which is good. It's dumb fun. Some other movies that come to mind after watching this are Event Horizon, Silent Hill, When they Cry and... Avatar. Many others too, though honestly, this plot and setting, they feel new.P.S. There is some impressive animation, kudos to the artists.
